Love How this video flows. Camera work And editing is spot on. Shes a good teacher. You guys are awesome. Going to build this in the Philippines with metal Since second hand lumber here is more expensive than metal.

Not a bad build for beginners. I was cringing a little myself at how rough those half-lap joints were, but they'll still work just fine. Only concern I would have is the choice of staples. Those household staple guns really aren't made for holding wire, and my worry is that if I were to kick that hardware cloth, the staples would pop right out and leave a hole that a predator could sneak through. That may not be an issue with a fox or raccoon, but could become one if you get a wandering bear or a large dog poking around the tractor. Heck, a deer could kick or step on the wire and make a hole for a raccoon, or natural twisting could slowly work them loose without you noticing. So I'd make sure to test the strength of your staples, and add some better fasteners if that doesn't hold up. Poultry net staples and grip-right nails come to mind as stronger options. They also both have the benefit of going in with a hammer, so no new tools needed.

@@ActivelyFamily Well, if you start to get more into DIY builds, I can recommend you check out Rex Krueger's Woodwork for Humans series for some basic craft skills, and Home RenoVision's A to Z shed tutorial for construction tips. Rex is more about small builds, like furniture, but he teaches a lot of all-purpose skills as well, including how to cut half-laps. RenoVision has some really cool tips for house renovation and shed construction. So those two make a really good base to build from.
