Brian, your teaching style is so refreshing. No meaningless drivel just short and to the point. Your kind of teaching styles are few and far between . Thanks so much.

Another Great Lesson! The difference between you and many of the rockabilly lessons on youtube is you take the time to explain the theory behind each change and chord inversion and analyze them within the framework of the rhythm. I'd just watched another lesson where the guy quickly showed all the chordal shapes and riffs for 20 MINUTES but never once played any of them in the context of a rhythm. In the end it was completely worthless and a waste of time (not to mention breaking my brain a bit). Thank you for demystifying the rockabilly beast!

Ry…sorry I missed this one…Awesome!…heck with the lead…I’m mesmerized by the rhythm…Do you think “Rumble in Yonkers Tonight” would make a good opening song for a gig.

Thanks. Im new to guitar, learning music theory, scales and such. Looking to focus on one style of playing and I find myself drawn to rockabilly. It jams, sounds like 2 guitars playing and you cant help but tap your foot with the music. Looks like to me picking skills and rythym are the keys to good rockabilly.

Your goal is achieved like no other Brian… I wonder when we’ll hear one of ‘your’ songs played by someone else on the radio. I’ve progressed and grown so much from your teaching. This is not my style, but there are some juicy bits I can acculturate

So it ends up being 12 bars and just the 5 chord for 2 bars instead of the 4 chord on the turn around ? 4 of the 1, 2 of the 4, 2 of the 1, 2 of the 5, 2 of the 1, Or did I miss something ?

Does everyone’s guitar buzz this much when it’s all quiet and no overdrive is on?
