Can someone explain the angle on the bracket and why it seems to cause the transducer to point slightly different angle than the pole handle? Can the pole handle be trusted as the true direction of the forward facing transducer?

I have noticed that my AT2 sonar is slightly tilted with respect to the mounting shaft (about 8 degrees) in forward mode. Is it normal? Thank you in advance!

I came to ask the same question. I can’t see how the transducer faces the same direction as the pole handle because of the angle…

Hello Lowrance Experts! I just bough the ActiveTarget setup and I would rather not install it on my trolling motor. I want to have the ability for the sonar to be independent of my direction of trolling motor. I would love to know where to get a mount like the one in this video! It would be perfect for my setup. Thanks for your help!

I can’t even begin to explain how disappointed I am with my hook2-7. I used it for almost 3 months and took the boat out of the water. I wasn’t able to put my boat in last season so I was so excited to finally fix it and get it in this season just to find out the only thing on my transducer that worked was water temp! The transducer was clean and looked as good as new but I figured for some reason after sitting it went bad, I don’t know. So I ordered a new one and now I think everything works except for depth. Not totally sure because I only had time to use the boat for about an hour. I called tech and got some women that was terrible!! She asked me all the questions that I just gave the answers to already. I explained the history of it pretty good right down to telling her all the plugs were in properly and I’m no amateur when it comes to hands on! So she asked me anyway if it was clean and were the plugs in all the way. I just told you I installed a new transducer yesterday, oh man! She told me to update it which I saw that coming. Still don’t explain why it would suddenly stop working. I downloaded the update to an SD card and tried it. It wouldn’t read it. I went back to my computer and back to the boat 3 times and tried different things. One thing I am not good at is the computer, but it says it’s there. Well I spent about 6 hours doing this till I gave up. Over $600 and it don’t work, maybe 7, I don’t remember the exact price. Oh and the new transducer was another $160 or so. I’m at a loss and I guess my boating season is ruined. Even if you’d let me trade it in I’d still have to take the boat out of the water again. Ugh man

Hi Kenny, thank you for your comment. We understand your frustration and we'd like to help you. Not having the transducer plug inserted all the way into the socket is number one "issue" for many of our users. Please follow the link, www.lowrance.com/help-and-support/?guideId=004-070 Indeed, this might not be your case. In fact we'd like you to write to us via FB and send us pictures of your transducer location and pictures of your sonar readings. Is the temperature not showing at all, or only showing --- ?

Could active target be used with HDS LIVE or it works only with new HDS PRO?

Yes, ActiveTarget is compatible with the HDS Live.

Fix your mobile app!!! I can't even message you from inside the app because it goes white within second of loading. Going on for over a month!!

Please make sure you only have the Lowrance app installed onto your phone, as having also the C-Map app will cause technical issues. If you still cannot login via the mobile app, please login via our web app, appchart.lowrance.com/core/map
