"Acton Bridge South + Station" What a active morning this was. 05/07/24

Took a chance and went to Acton Bridge on Friday morning, and I did ok as the last time I went on a morning it wasn't that busy.

Excellent video, Mike. Unexpected seeing LNWR 150 through Acton Bridge, but that was a good catch nonetheless. Also nice to see double headed DRS 66s on the Tesco Express, the Midland Pullman, and three glorious red sheds (for Nick). Keep up the good work, and stay safe. All the best, Arnold 👍🙂.

Like the format Mike, like it very much, still, info and vid! Excellent workings freights Blue Pullman and much more, oh of coarse glorious Redshed 168 looking good. The double Tangoed 90's were awesome, just one niggle, the double DRS sheds, 108 blast double blast and even a treble blast (Dick Dastardly and Mutley) ive been chasing that four years, when with EWS ! Otherwise another cracking session from you, talk about value for money! Really enjoyed this cheers Nick.

Cheers Nick for your long comment on my morning which I appreciate very much, sorry that I've seen a loco you want to see but that's part of the hobby I believe Nick. After AB I went to Liverpool to get some 777 ticked off and I did see five 507 units which was very nice. I didn't get back home till 22.35 hrs so I think you my get another video from this day, regards Mike.

Nice action, see you caught the new west highland hst short set. Will be interesting now LSL has two blue hst sets in different lengths. Still need to get GBRf 66734 in platinum jubilee livery. Great video 👍

Good video Mike it feels like Acton Bridge is getting slacker for freight I see there was no biomass again. I spent the morning at Swinton got a bit of freight and a tour.

I wonder if you could answer a question for me, if you know. Twice in the last month I have driven along the A50, Doveridge bypass section, and there is a class 66 loco bizarrely parked on a trailer between the carriageways' central reservations! Do you happen to know why it is there? It hasn't moved for some time, totally weird!
