Dinmukhammed Kanatuly Kudaibergen (Kazakh: Дінмұхаммед Қанатұлы Құдайберген, Dinmuhammed Qanatuly Qudaıbergen; born 24 May 1994), known professionally as Dimash Kudaibergen, is a Kazakh singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. He is university trained in classical as well as contemporary music, and is known for his exceptionally wide vocal range.[1][2][3][4][5] He has performed songs in twelve different languages.[6]
Although offered a position at the Astana Opera, he decided to carve out his career in contemporary music, mixing classical elements and traditional Kazakh music with pop music.[7]
He gained significant popularity in Kazakhstan and other post-Soviet countries in 2015 upon becoming the Grand Prix winner of Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk, Belarus.[8] He rose to fame in China with his participation as a "wildcard competitor" in Hunan TV's Singer 2017 (Chinese: 歌手2017)[9] finishing second overall.

Even though I don't like techno music that much, I love this video here because I'm a total sci fi freak. I think Dimash looks like a Jedi in that scene when he's standing on the roof with that hood. I'd love to see him in a Star Wars movie, and a James Bond movie, and a fantasy movie, and a vampire movie, and a historical movie, and maybe even in a shallow romance tearjerker (I HATE shallow romance tearjerkers, but for Dimash, I'd watch even that). Yep, keep them coming, best reactions to Dimash videos by far. You pick up on all the subtleties and nuances that everyone else seems to miss. If you do the official MV of My Swan then remember to have tissues to hand. Everyone else seems to have latched on to the live versions whereas the lesser viewed MV is heartbreaking.

This video was difficult to understand without the background story. They should have inserted that story briefly in the beginning, as in Star Wars. I mean, it's great that you guessed right about what he was doing on the bus but I didn't know right away. Was it money he was sharing? Info that made people finally revolt? Be With Me was much better I thought. But you are right. Dimash is a true artist. There is nothing he cannot do.

It's great that you made the video despite all the difficulties with it. I am thrilled with your reaction. Yes, Dimash does what he wants, he is in the fortunate position of being able to do that. That makes it all the more exciting. It's a shame that not every artist is in this position. Nobody knows what great art and artists we are missing out on.
