I also love your ability to penetrate into the soul, into the depths of things to totally understand them, especially in the human realm. I equally love the way Dimash gives himself completely, putting himself at the service of the song he wants to interpret. Among the various songs, one that struck me with the intensity and depth of Dimash's interpretation is Daybreak; it is taken from a true story, lyrics and music by a Chinese woman who adopted a child whose parents died in an accident. Anyone who watched the video, made by a fan with his cell phone, of Dimash's show in Hong Kong, had the pleasure of a first contact with the song “When I've Got You” and realized, in Dimash's own music and in the lyrics by Candice Kelly and Dmytro Gordon, a romantic, seductive and passionate song sung with Dimash's own virtuosity. There was tension and anxiety in being able to watch the studio version with better sound quality... Hi Cedric, loved your insights. As we know Dimash doesn't explain! You always have to watch until the end, and then some. I couldn't read the whole headline at first bc it was still too dark but understood it was a dream, so how was the headline already there? Was she leaving? Vampires are not my thing but this was so well done, as always. This was performed at his concert in Hong Kong, filmed by a fan, so we knew the song. He was dressed all in Silver there, which only made him even more gorgeous. It is definitely different and with many "Americanisms", made for the western music "industry". I hate to call it that, but it is what it is. I know he wants to get into that. This, and his other song premiered at the concert, Smoke, are also being made into a MV. Looking forward to your reaction to that as you always explain things I do not see. PS. His concert in Istanbul on May 24, for his 30th birthday should be phenomenal, maybe u can go to it.

Everytime I watch this video I see different things. They are all litle things but they make it a great video. I've noticed that most every time he flings his hand/claws, there is a metalic zing sound. It's cool. There is also no reflection of Dimash and when she is sitting down and looks up at him, what she sees is a death mask that's actually on the wall behind her and not Dimash. It is not Dimash singing the Lakme Duet. His team has acknowledged sourcing the duet from the 1915 recording. It is in the same key. Even the Bangkok Voice coach has acknowledged this. But his team has said they sourced it. So please stop spreading baseless rumour.
