he does this naturally, sheer perfection, been doing it all his life, best singer in the world, no doubt of it!!!!! i think everyone should read about his back ground, homeless and on the streets at 5 years old, sold shoelaces on the street to survive, he is a very real young man, total faith in God for brining him out of his horrible life, and blessing his voice, hes had NO vocal training at all, and hes one of maybe 2 people in the world that can do this, amazing isnt he, his story is incredible, he is married, to his wife of many years, and has a daughter.

I am sure Marcelito was on Voyager of the Seas in March 2020. We were on a cruise to the South Pacific, the second last cruise ship to return home to Sydney, Australia before Covid-19 Lockdown. He won the staff talent competition. We saw him perform twice, that's why I'm sure it was him. We were absolutely astounded and amazed at this man's unbelievable talent. The control he has over his breathing and his two voices is astonishing. Both of Marcelito's voices are beautiful. I love his tenor voice, it is So rich and beautiful. His soprano voice is also so beautiful and clear.

Very intriguing "Two in one 'voice never done by any artist I mean come on!!! Pure genius his performance is, so unique, very powerful his voice is, sorry to say You can find advertiments two for one items in supermarket these days, but not for voice in any music industry, he is indeed special artist to watch out for hope he goes a long way he sounds so amazing!!!! In case you do not know Marcelito's story ~ Marcelito's father was incarcerated and at just 7 years old, his mother abandoned him on poverty ridden streets of a city in The Phillipines. Marcelito would sing to comfort himself when he was afraid or lonely. He would work cleaning chicken coops to survive and he sang to the chickens. With all of that he remained kind, gentle and humble. Marcelito has had absolutely no vocal training and is self taught. When he sings, we feel more than his beautiful voice as he actually grasps peoples' hearts. There is an extra magic touch to everything he sings. He can sing all genres of music, both male and female vocals and in 6 languages. He is an advocate for the poor, disabled and elderly.

Marcelito's childhood prayers were the same as The Prayer - he prayed to God for a safe place to be and for guidance in knowing what to do to survive.

Your description is right on! There are a few other singers with dual voices but Marcelito is the only one who can ( with ease and with no effort) switch back and forth like that. He has listened to the duet sung by Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion countless times and has memorized both parts, this is the result of hours and hours of practice to imitate both parts. He is from the Philippines and does not speak Italian or English, this is strictly imitation of what he has heard. It is an amazing talent and always a shock when heard the first time.

On Marcelito Pomoy We Filipinos love to express what we feel through singing and we do not care what people say, we just sing. This piece done by Marcelito is called "Doble Cara" (not to be confused by a Filipino soap opera of the same name/title) popularized in over a national television and has consequently become a craze in singing contests even in office Christmas Parties. A singer usually a guy, wears 2 part costume (male and female) so he can switch sides depending on the character he portrays as he sing. You can check out his take on Con Ti Partiro and Beauty and the Beast in America's Got Talent. 😊 His duet with Morissette Amon (another Filipina singer whose covers and originals include the songs "Akin ka na lang" and Rise up) doing Secret Love Song is also worth watching. Marcelito, by the way has, like some of our great singers have no formal training. He is self taught and does not even speak Italian. Try to check out Katrina Velarde, another Filipina doing impersonation of local and international singers (the song Burn where she sang while having a baby around), then another video where she impersonated 21 singers I guess before looking up their cover of Mariah Carey and Boyz to Men' One Sweet Day (Katrina sang with BuDaKhel [BUgoy Drilon, DAryl Ong and Michael "Khel" Pangilinan])

Trivia: When he first joined a competition, he dressed up both the male and female characters... his left side was wearing a gown and his right was tuxedo... lol!! He would turn to the camera accordingly to the voice he is doing. He didn't win. But he joined another competition and he won... YEY!!! Without the dress-up anymore.

(For info) I'll explain how he manages to do his two fantastic voices, it's both simple for him and even sitting and complicated for everyone, because he has lived in the street since the age of 7 years abandoned in the philippine and as he praised his two singers he sang his for 26 years lol and one day he brought the two voices together quite naturally because he has the voice of the head and the voice of the chest in him which is rare .. and these are his singles for him, he sings it forever and his own that he has been spotted cool .. and since his world stars and even his two great singers have also met in complete privacy but its i can't talk about it ok cool i'm 40 years old and i know some things i can't talk about but it's cool ....

Nothing surprises me about not only Marcelito's voice but also his character. He survived his childhood and miraculously, remained a kind and humble man. His character and past are part of everything he sings. I am a homebound disabled old lady now but if God granted me to go to only one more concert in my life, it would be Marcelito.
