Amazing series ZeroZeroZero. He character is the coolest character in the whole series. The end where she just sits down between the two dead guys and doesn't even blink an eye is epic. Great show - watch if you have not. Beautifully shot, locations amazing. Sad it's over.

Jeff Wolfsberg yea she was stone cold in those last scenes. Walking by those dead bodies like a stroll in the park and getting to business as usual with the new boss really shows how indifferent the drug business is to death and tragedy. All that matters is the money and the product getting to their destination

I loved Chris' story. A brutal death was Chris' inevitable fate, but he altered that fate from withering away due to disease to going out like a boss, saying fuck you to his killer and protecting his sister and the family's cargo. His father and sister thought he was too weak for the family business, but in the end he proved himself to be stronger than his father ever was. If you recall, the captain said his dad was the toughest man he ever knew, but eluded to the fact that he ultimately gave up the goods when faced with a pirate's rifle between the eyes. Chris went out on his shield. His father would have been proud, and that's all Chris ever wanted.

In the final scene of ZeroZeroZero, Emma is leaving the mansion of the just-murdered dealer, having calmly sat on a sofa with a bloody, dead body on either side of her while making a deal with the new boss for an upcoming shipment. As she's walking back to the car, with bodies laying everywhere on the ground, she shows a big, confident smile to the armed cartel soldiers she passes, displaying not friendliness, but fearlessness, and that she shouldn't be mistaken for being "merely" a small woman in their eyes. I really loved the Emma character, and also how capable and heroic the character, Chis, her brother slowly dying of Huntington's Disease, came to be. The series is deserving of being watched more than once.

I did the same thing LOL. The stuff in Mexico was hard to watch, but damn it was intense. I was particularly glad that Don Minu lasted longer than the first episode - great character (I wish someone else had stuck around longer). I liked the stuff with Emma Lynwood, but I have never liked Dane DeHaan, and his Huntingston tick didn't change my mind. But I couldn't stop watching it after that first episode.

@@keithpatrick156 Sometimes I feel like we get so wrapped up in a story that you end up looking at a storyline like, “meh.” That’s sorta how I felt about Dane’s role. That stuff on the boat, although I faintly remember the order of events, he failed. Speaking of that scene, I just read an article about the record number of shipping containers lost at sea this past year. There are containers worth hundreds of thousands of retail and frozen foods lost on the bottom of the ocean forever. I dunno I just though that was crazy. This drama got me sort of interested in the business of transpo; the global distribution game of goods, whether legal or illegal, seems absolutely insane.

She is a very attractive actress but I was half way through "Disconnect" when I realised that the tv journalist was her. So many initially interesting but unexplained story lines in this 8 episode monstrosity and so much gratuitous violence. The Mexican scenes refer to the real savagery of Zetas cartel inception and are good but the Italian scenes of the Ndrangetha scenes portrait them in their real total brutality and beyond the suave BS American mafia movies.African part of the story is convincing enough ,especially about framing the story with rampant government corruption. The ISIS part of the story to me the worst but overall a lot better than anything going on TV or movies with this theme right now.
