@w0bbl3r5 жыл бұрын
Really? I thought the ending was awesome. But the last season was not up to par with the first 4 seasons. Without a real nemesis for Heisenberg, it didn't stack up. Gincarlo Esposito ruined us with Gus I think. We were so used to that dynamic between them, Gus being such a perfect antagonist, that those nazi gang guys just kind of came out of nowhere to be the big enemy in the last couple of episodes. Don't get me wrong, the actual ending was just pure class all the way. But the fact that those nobody nazi douchebags did more damage just to Jesse than had been done to him throughout the whole rest of the show combined, showed that they had either taken the show 1 season too far, or had killed Gus a season too early. Gus should have been Walt and Jesse's big bad for the "felina"
@AirCanada1J54 жыл бұрын
@@w0bbl3r I thought the Nazis were the weakpoint of the season as well and it really was about Hank/Walt/Jesse keeping my interest for 5, but yes it wasn't as good as the Gus/Walt/Jesse/Hank storyline. I will say though that the finale completely won me back and going back to save Jesse felt really good and fitting to end on...it was a really good finale, the climax ended in season 4 and that's okay.

Did anyone else note that "Felina" is an anagram of "Finale?" Hard to pick a fave, though "Felina" was at least near the top. SPOILER: My favorite situation was in "Felina" when the laser "sights" train onto Gretchen and Elliott. Their reaction is priceless, as is Walt's orchestration of it. I loved the reveal of Skinny and Badger when he asks for his laser pointers back. But... I've watched other scenes over and over, esp. the buildup to Gus' "Face-off." Did anyone else get the food reference to Gus' last name, "Fring?" Happens to be one of my favorite sides. I took it as a pseudonym, as Gus strictly hid his Chilean background. Only Don Eladio seemed to know Gus' true past.

Marvin Nash he wasn't planning on lying down only when badger and skinny told Walter that blue meth was still being produced that he made the assumption that Jesse was working for jack that's why he manipulated jack into bringing Jesse into the room cuz he wanted to kill Jesse for stealing his legacy only when Jesse was brought out he obviously realized Jesse was a prisoner being forced to cook the meth and being tortured essentially that he decided to save Jesse from the position he inadvertently put him in and tackled him to the ground prior to his realization he wasn't going to lie down nor was he going to save Jesse
@Silver_Owl Жыл бұрын
I think he planned to die. He decided to save Jesse at the last minute, hence the dive, then he tried to get Jesse to kill him. If none of that had worked, I think he'd have done what Jesse said, and done it himself. The cancer was back, he was dying anyway, he'd tied up the loose ends and provided for his family, and he was tired of running. Like he said to Hank, he didn't intend to spend a day in jail. Dying on his own terms was the only course left to him.
