Did he really just say that the NFL was like socialism?? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! "... you put in, you take out..." That is not socialism, dude... that's free market capitalism (and not corporate welfare capitalism, like We've turned into).
Do they change his voice in movies and TV series? Because I can't tell what he is saying. It's like mumbling, too soft, too low of a voice, too quick. They must do something because I understand him perfectly in shows. Or he changes his voice? I LOVE him as an actor, though for a while he was overused, but you have to strike when the iron's hot. He was brilliant in Deadwood and I was traumatized when they cut the show, the bas___s. But then.....he decided to wow me further with another show that was right up my ally: American Gods. THIS was a HIGHLY original, breaking ground series. But I'm a great grandmother and when I like something, given I'm not the target audience, sadly, it generally doesn't bode well for the show or movie. They cut it. Addendum: I just realized that he's only unintelligible when talking sports. When he starts talking about the shows, he was perfectly understandable. Weird..... P.s. Being a Western fan, like loving a sports team that loses a lot, you get used to disappointment. It's a niche genre. I enjoy what's offered, and in the case of Deadwood, it's so good, one is baffled when they cut it. In the age of the ever-disgusting, race-to-the-bottom nature of social media and "Reality TV," its quite the shock to the system when something genuinely special, genuinely unique, sophisticated and nuanced shows up. If it doesn't make a bazillion dollars, they cut it. Again....bas____s. So.....what do they do? They remove the show, pluck the thing they think is the lowest common factor, and make a show about that: Justified, where the sheriff, er, deputy Marshall goes around beating up and blowing away bad guys. Still a good show that I watched, but its hardly the sophisticated, nuanced tapestry that the Deadwood series was. .
