This guy says “I’ve been pretty lucky” about his storied and varied career. He’s also a fan-fucking-tastic actor! He’s apparently as nice a person as they make, but he’s also what I’ve heard called “a stage rat”. There are certain actors that just want to perform(The late John Mahoney of “Frasier” fame, David Hyde Pierce also of “Frasier” fame, Fred Willard, the late Sam Lloyd who was Ted Buckland in “Scrubs”, Tom Wopat of “Dukes of Hazzard” fame, and Annie Potts of “Ghostbusters” fame) that will do a part in any performance if it is the right fit because they love performing. He loves acting and loves sports.

I remember him in the movie Platoon as Sergeant O’Neill. My dad and I would quote one of his lines to each other from that movie. “I got a bad feeling about this, I have a feeling I’m not going to make it”.

I had the same reaction to Scrubs as Dan Patrick. I never saw an episode till 2016 and then wondered “how did I miss this?”

Dana Gould is a very funny stand up as well as a writer. He’s one of Seinfeld’s closest friends and a longtime Simpson’s contributor.

Office Space: I'll be honest with you, I love his music, I do, I'm a Michael Bolton fan. For my money, it doesn't get any better than when he sings "When a Man Loves a Woman".

He nailed Sgt. Red O'Neill. Any who has served in the military has served with a Red O'Neill and JCM was perfect as O'Neill.
