This was by far the BEST interviewee you have had in the past few episodes. Danish Husain was so impressively knowledgeable, erudite and an outstanding orator. Plus, I liked the fact that he came to the interview so 'prepared' and did not keep saying 'I don't remember' like your interviewees in the past have done. नमस्ते 🙏 बहुत बहुत शुक्रिया Rekhta.. हर इतवार का बेसब्री से इंतज़ार रहता है। गुफ्तगू के पहले के सारे सीज़न देखे है। आप सही मायनों में "कलाकार" से हमारा तारूफ कराते है( स्टार से नही)। इरफ़ानजी की जितनी भी तारीफ की जाय कम है। बड़े सहज भाव से सवालात करते है जिससे अपनापन सा लगता है। हर एक इंसान की ज़िंदगी मिसाल होती है क्योकि ,हमे मिली हुई ज़िंदगी हम अच्छे से जिए ये ईश्वर के प्रति हमारी जवाबदेही है। इरफ़ानजी ,हर एक महेमानकी "संघर्ष से सफलता" की बाते बहुत ही निराले तरीके से पूछते है।आज के एन्कोरो को उनसे सीखना चाहिए। एकबार फिर बारबार आपका शुक्रिया ..ऐसी प्रेरणादायी मुलाकाते चलती रहनी चाहिए। 🙏☺️

Danish Husain ke saath guftagu bahut badhia rahi. Maine unki Dastaangoi ko KZbin par dekha hai--uske baare mein tafseel se jaan kar khushi mili. Dastaangoi ke artform ki aur vidhaayon se tulnaa aur Urdu words ke translation provide karne ke liye khaas shukriya.

It was a wonderful experience listening to Danish Hussain. Such an insightful person he is! Earlier I had watched him only once, acting in the movie named 'Dhobi Ghat' in which he played the character of Salim, a young boy who stays in a slum near the railway track. Here I found entirely different persona of Danish Hussain during the interview. I loved his style of articulating or elaborating things when he was explaining his point of view. Also translation of the Urdu words is very helpful while watching the interview. Thank you very much for this amazing interview.

Felicity of articulation by Danish would be banal.He quite obviously is an intellectual theoritician and avid practitioner of the art of Dastangoi - and its revival.He brings to the fore the poetry and beauty of words in the original Persian,Arabic or Urdu (which I cannot distinguish really) and the craft and diction,the form and content,the music and metre of an art form almost unheard since the late 20's until two decades ago.He is self-conscious throughout and fully aware of his gifts which he is self-confessedly examines and experiments while undergoing the interview. His rich heritage set within his family and society he lives in,his superior education helps him not just to overcome the limitations of lack of formal training but helps him to emerge as a thinker and ideologue of his special tradition and genre.Irfan Bhai like always plays the fly on the wall ever so discreet and unobtrusive only intervening to keep Danish only on his planned path of conversation and not to stray away in the mellifluous strains of a Danish -carried away. Thank you would be the weakest words to make up for my joy in being exposed to a wonderful craftsman - wedded to his dreams.

Irfan Saheb, today I have really enjoyed Guftgu Artist Hussain has brought a different art on the stage called kissabaaz for his audience. I had seem kissa goi on Rakhta before. Mr Hussain is well versed and is an astute observer and performer! He is an expert in his art- his mesmerizing voice, knowledge of depth of art and stage performance is very impressive ! He is deeply devoted, how to modulate and impress audience Is a living artist His diction is clear and impressive. He has really found a good grip how to impress people with his art. It was a different kind of Guftgu. Very informative and pleasant personality! Thanks for sharing!
