Actor Treat Williams dies in motorcycle accident l GMA

The 71-year-old star of "Everwood" and "Hair" suffered critical injuries and was airlifted to Albany Medical Center in New York where he was later pronounced dead.

It's because he was one who didn't play the Hollywood "game". His iconic body of work spoke for itself; thus, his ethics could not be comprised, as he didn't need to prove himself or his talent to anyone. I am beyond shocked and saddened by his passing, as I've adored him since I first saw him in Prince of the City back in the late 70's. Hoping the universe is kind to his grieving loved ones...

Treat was such a kind and down to earth man. He used to come into my job at a hardware store in Manchester all the time and he was such a pleasure to work with and to talk to. Such a heartbreaking tragedy, rest peacefully my friend ❤

Am very sorry to hear this news. My condolences to the family. I am 66, and haven't ridden a motorcycle since college in 1977. My family was in the funeral business, and motorcycles had a really poor reputation around there. I learned early on that cars and trucks always win (if it isn't a winding slick road or a tree). 🥀
