As far as him walking out of interview, it was probably the most polite and mature thing he could do at that moment. He was not there to talk about his personal life. He was promoting a movie. I'm sure there were guidelines laid out and said journalist was most likely not heeding what they had agreed to beforehand.

Nothing to do with Hollywood but we were at a company Christmas party and one guy got totally polluted. Well, others at the party started telling him the Christmas tree was talking 💩 about him, so he went and took out the tree ! To this day we still laugh about it. Amazingly enough, the company continued to host the parties.

Carrie Fisher once said she did not remember the rest of the decade of the 80's after Return of the Jedi. I have no doubt her drug use shortened her life; and clearly played havoc with her health. I remember seeing her at one of the Award shows in 1991 and I was shocked at how old she looked, if I had not known better I would have estimated her age at over 50; when she was actually not yet 35. Frankly this title calling it partying is flat out wrong; the vast majority of those mentioned were alcoholics or drug addicts. That is not partying.

1:16 ~ Redemption?? If it wasn't for Terrence Howard sticking his neck out there to help his friend when he was Down & Out, that redemption never would have occurred! When the producers screwed over Howard when it was time to make the sequel to Iron Man, Howard called up his close, personal friend. Left over 20 messages begging him for help. Begging him to pay back the HUGE favor he owed him. Jr. never returned a single phone call. Some folks don't deserve redemption.

You wonder how people lived through a lot of this. A case of beer and bottle of whiskey a day, plus coke, damn. Steven Van Zant put coke in his drink and one day in Paris he started puking up blood and pieces of his stomach. He turned to a band member and said, "I really want a drink." He finally went to rehab.

@ There is a lot of evidence now that is it sewn in to their DNA. An addict is an addict is an addict and most of these people may have discovered their addiction primarily through their partying, in the beginning, but shortly thereafter it ain’t partying, it is just the addiction taking over their lives.

From MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE… There are 2 types of sobriety 1. Staying clean even though you want to still get high 2. When the actual DESIRE to use is gone. Not wanting to use because you know better I have been through both scenarios and I thank God daily that the desire to use is no longer present

While filming the movie 'Mad Dog Morgan' in Australia, Dennis Hopper drank vast amounts of rum so he could properly portray the real-life character. When filming finished he rode off in costume, visited Morgan's grave, drank a bottle of rum, got arrested and deported the next day, "with a blood-alcohol reading that said he should have been clinically dead, according to the judge studying his alcohol tests."
@lhays1172 күн бұрын
28 beers a day and a half a gallon of rum with three grams of cocaine is absolutely insane. I genuinely don't understand how Dennis Hopper lived past the filming of Apocalypse Now let alone to the advanced age he did.

Careless parents shouldn’t have kids in their possession. A good or bad parent means everything in the upbringing of a child dude. I know adult women that had bad parents, and are completely lost, unhinged, off the wall, and need severe help. In many ways.

100%. Known plenty of people over the years who were just troubled and every time they always had terrible parents behind it. And of course the most well adjusted "normal" ones all came from a loving home with a solid set of parents who actually cared for them, the difference in their personalities and mental state is night and day. I really do think there should be some sort of test or evaluation you have to go through before you are allowed to have children.
