Because you will fail at acting if you don't have self esteem and confidence. You have to KNOW THYSELF. You must be confident. Its very detrimental to the sport of acting. Life is magical Live it good!

I am not an actor but I am a dancer. I believe that acting and dancing have a lot to do with each other. With passion or feeling the will both be nothing!

Can someone explain to me in simple terms what tge Chekov technique is? And since Jack Colvin died does anyone really teach it?
@dirosaga14 жыл бұрын
very powerful. But i suppose what would be the ultimate goal, would be, as opposed to merely being moved in the present moment by such miraculous teachings, to take this power and use it in my present and ongoing future life. But that would be scary, and that would be action. And that would be effective, that would create effects; to do, would be to create actual effects around me, not just dreams. Dreams becoming reality.

When acting, you either decide to creatively channel the words that you are reading, or simply reading them off of a piece of paper. You can't effectively channel words and make it look believeable without the confidence behind them. It's like being a pencil. Your confidence, your poise, your creativity of being in the moment and channeling those energies, are your sharpener. You decide to be a sharpened pencil, or an unsharpened one. Thats acting. You can't be an athlete without fitness.
