I JUST beat Renaissance and I gotta admit, it was fun. Some things I miss from the old game, some things were improved. I think I might continue on into Hard mode... I had fun playing through the first time around. 😄

I see the Magical Stardust got nerfed (bigger, slower projectiles with significant spaces in-between) while fire and aura got OP. This time around there is no easy win button.

Admittedly, Stardust needed the nerf. You get it super-early, and after you get it, there's no real point to using anything else...

If Renaissance is successful enough, Squeenix may consider remaking Actraiser 2 as an ACTUAL game (hopefully with better controls and visuals, not to mention the much lamented and requested all-new Sim segments!).

Honestly? Yeah thatd be great since 2 didn’t have the sim bits, build up a couple of new towns to have your story in and retell the story of 2 in the context of the renaissance actraiser world.

Gee, the platform segments definitely look like a relic from the PSOne/DKC era, which is an unfortunate nitpick because everything else in the remake is actually perfectly fine (even if the tower defense segments are a bit overwhelming at times). Let's hope the sequel will have better graphics, most preferably hand-drawn.

mmm se ve bien pero si lo hicieron más fácil con las nuevas mecánicas de magia si hicieran uno del 2 la verdad esperaría que no le bajen la dificultad ya que es lo que más me gusta del juego y se que la movilidad es malisima pero eso es lo que hace que el juego sea difícil y que no cualquiera podía terminarlo y daba mucha satisfacción derrotar a taznra

I'm stuck in Aitos. I put out the Volcano fire with rain. They thank me and then nothing happens. My population is maxed out. No progression on storyline to go to final dungeon.

Tear down the old buildings, see if you have all the roads built, like all the intersections as well as houses will be built there as well.

@@acolytesounds I saw someone say they had to do it 3 times. My mistake was that I missed one road intersection, then the last few houses popped in. Good luck!

Moral of the game: You don’t need God. Ever so more blatant in this game. Well, guess that matches the general view of the world now. Not surprising that the message isn’t more upbuilding. I know I’m going to get mocked and ridicules for this view, but in this system of things, God is no more. This game is not for me.

Did you actually read the dialogue? It does NOT say that. In fact you argue the need for God at every town. Except for what's past Aitos since I'm stuck...
