This was a special show for my family growing up. We loved Mark Lowry, and we would rent this VHS from my church’s library and bust a gut every time we watched it. The bit about the fight especially got us though because it was EXACTLY the kind of thing that went on in my house. I was the middle of two brothers and we wrestled and fought constantly. It was not too uncommon for my mom to echo the cry of Mrs. Lowry: “LORD FORGIVE ME FOR FAILING WITH THESE BOYS”

Mark, I was just watching this dvd *again* and realized that I know MOST of it by heart. Which led my thoughts back to your year off. You said maybe God would give you new material. The material you have so meticulously crafted over the years will stand forever. I believe it will continue to be relevant and capture the hearts of new audiences, if only through media. But do you REALLY believe you have reached 100% saturation? I don't think so. Then I thought that maybe, much like myself, you have grown tired of the constant demand to be "ON". That alone can make your spirit cry out for solitude and the need for time away from your adoring fans, (loved though they may be.) So I say go for the gusto. Just don't forget about us. I assure you we won't forget about you. Go with God. ❤❤

After discovering Mark a few years ago I just had to share you with my 81 year old sister and she thinks Mark is a hoot. I wish I had started sooner sending and sharing these crazy stories. A clean comedian is nice for a change!

Yep. My mom is a screamer. My pastor said in a sermon that Christians are not supposed to get angry, yell and scream at people nor use abusive language because that is not a child of God. That's a child of Satan. I feel sorry for anybody who has been screamed at and also had abusive language spoken to.
