One of the funniest men on the planet! I hope that giving up our Earthly bodies when we die doesn't have to mean that in Heaven we can't laugh 'til we cry, when Mark Lowry is "on a roll!" Second of all most religious people care if something sacred is being made fun of. Considering that the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Joseph are the parents of Jesus Christ, I absolutely should be prude-nt in considering what kind of jokes about them I feel are appropriate or not. I got to see Mark earlier this year in Bothell, Washington. He is awesome. I seriously can't believe he is single. He's so funny and has a great singing voice. I knew he was funny. I have listened to him for nearly 16 years. I found out about him when I was pregnant with my daughter and on bed rest for kidney stones (at the same time as the pregnancy). He is just as funny in person as in his videos and such a nice guy. I got a picture made with him and he took off his jacket b/c he was sweating. I can imagine under those lights and so much activity during a concert. he said he was hot. Then he put his arm around me to get the picture and told me I was hot too. I know he meant body temp - but I made him laugh when I told him that was the first time a guy ever called me hot. LOL He said it was body temp and other ways too. LOL I couldn't believe I got back at him on that one. But it was great. It was so much fun seeing him live. I would definitely do it again!

I imagine that God would convict Mark's soul if He thought Mark was being blasphemous when he talks about Mary and Joseph as if they were real people. Reminding me that they were just like me helps when troubles come into my life. If I only see them as the Holy Family I negate the fact that Mary and Joseph were also sinners saved by grace. My grandmother (a Baptist) told me I could pray to God if my life was in danger and He would help me. She seemed sure. I was 11yo. Well when I was 29, I was diagnosed with a tubal pregnancy and doctors said I had to terminate to save my life from imminent rupture of the ovarian artery. But I heard God tell me no. I asked doctor if my baby was alive... (yes he answered reluctantly). Long story short, I obeyed God and laid down my own life to protect the life of my child. In fact on the way home at a stop light, I put my hand on my womb and I said, Lord I'm going to protect my baby's life for as long as I can. Well just Go to heaven together. PEACE & RESOLVE FELL OVER ME LIKE A HEAVY WEIGHT. (The Kabod of God.) And I told no one what the doctor said. Unbeknownst to me, my fellow (Baptist) Sunday school classmates were praying for my baby even though I hadn't told them a thing. Each day break I wondered if this would be the day, I went heaven from internal bleeding of a ruptured artery. But each day I lived. A week later the Dr's nurse called saying come in again & a second ultrasound seemed to convince the Doctor that my baby had stopped developing. But I decided against the D&C again. This time I went home sad my baby had died. So I remembered my grandmother's instruction and I prayed 🙏. I called out every organ & every part of my baby in prayer to God requesting Him to save my baby's life and form each individual part. And I fell asleep praying. At about 5am an Angel appeared in my room and awakened me. I was too intimidated to talk but I wanted to know if He was okay. So I asked him his name. He only said "I am the One who is sent from the One" Long story short he stretched out his hand and I was slain in the spirit (although being Baptist I didn't know this terminology. ). He healed my baby and my pregnancy !!! The next week a third ultrasound (same tech as before) went ballistic!! She interrupted the imaging and tore down the hall screaming for the doctor. My baby was alive again and fully developed and rightly attached in my womb. Later, I learned my Baptist Sunday school classmates were praying for my baby's life too without knowing anything about the diagnosis and prognosis. Roll forward to 1999 and I was diagnosed with Lymphoma. And still a Baptist. I asked God to spare my life, for the sake of my daughter not to loose her mom. And I will cut this short and say God healed me after the chemo failed. And the healing happened in a Baptist Sunday school class while scripture about affliction was being read by the assistant pastor. (She survived breat cancer and kidney cancer both before 1950 - no chemo or radiation). We
