I love your messages short but impactful, full of truth!! The Gospel is so beautiful!! The ultimate gift of eternal life and love through Jesus the Christ He said it is finished, there’s nothing we can offer our almighty perfect God who came to save the world paying our sin debt through His shed blood on the cross, death, burial and Ressurection but our faith and trust in Him alone as Lord and Saviour and a grateful heart❤ For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Thank you for sharing Romans 1:16-17. It’s one of my favorite verses because we can boast in the finished redemptive work of Christ!

Agreed, the power of God dwells within the believer who is born again. Is the power of God inside sufficient to bring about a change of life toward greater holiness? About Acts 16:30-31, let us also include verses 32 and 33: Act 16:32 And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. Act 16:33 And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. So, two more things happened here to the man, and everywhere else in Acts to other newcomers: 1. He heard the word of God read to him. 2. He was water baptized. 1. He knew what he was actually believing. 2. Believing what he had heard, he agreed to be water baptized in the dark hours of the night. It appears that all of these things are part of believing.

The baptism referenced in Acts 16:33 is referring to the baptism in the Holy Spirit into the Body of Christ. There is no mention of water here. I’d encourage you to watch my video titled “Water Baptism vs Baptism in the Holy Spirit”. “For by one spirit are we all baptized into one body…” -1 Corinthians 12:13

@@2Peter3-18 Everytime there is a baptism in the Holy Spirit, the Spirit is explicitly mentioned, in the Gospels and Acts, also in the example you are giving. If not, it is always baptism in water. If baptism in the Holy Spirit was meant in Act 16:33, the Spirit would have been mentioned, and some evidence of it.

@@kaidruhlusa “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit, and with fire” -John the Baptist (Matthew 3:11) “And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days hence.” -Jesus (Acts 1:4-5) I talk about this in my baptism video that any example of water baptism taking place in the book of Acts (only two examples I’m aware of) is because the Jewish believers were still “zealous of the law” (Acts 21:20). The book of Acts is a transitional book and many believers were going back to the Law of Moses/Animal Sacrifices/Water Baptism even though that has all been done away with through Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. The book of Galatians and Hebrews outlines this in much more detail. “The just shall live by faith” -Habakkuk 2:4 -Romans 1:17 -Galatians 3:11 -Hebrews 10:38
