She actually did write this herself! Lyrics are by her, Teddy and Danny Chung. It could be that she wasn't the one writing that one line, but we can't know that for now. She helped compose the song as well Also "24" is one of the producers in The Black Label

She did participate in writing lyrics for this EP except for one song (not this one), like from her previous albums she always involved in writing and composing her own music, of course along with teddy, 24, R.tee, bekuh boom and other big names in the blacklabel.

24 is the name of the Black Label producer standing next to her at the end of the rap. he’s also produced and worked on many Blackpink hits.

I actually understand de contrats like she is savage but cute too. Like the transformation from a kid with boys problems to a 22 year old making her way.

I think its intended for the chorus to be simple becuz the verses are already full 😅

I agree with your criticism. The verses are strong but the chorus and pre-chorus don't hit.

I would like for you TeddyGreyOnStuff .. to react to Rowdy by Sorn (feat Seungyeon), But then that song also somehow simple and repetitive but it's kinda addictive! 😃

Please react to this kid. "The Top" AMARA Official Music Video AMARA is the artistic persona that embodies the Cambodian American rapper, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and audio engineer Drew Keating. Born in Cambodia and adopted from an orphanage in 2001, AMARA has taken musical efforts to reconnect with his roots through the sampling and recording of Cambodian traditional instruments and pop songs from before the genocide. Growing up in Boston, Massachusetts, AMARA garnered his instrumental skills at a young age starting cello at four years old. Beginning in high school, AMARA started a hip-hop collective as a reliable and skilled producer with fellow talented peers called Illegal Advisory. With the group, he developed a portfolio of work demonstrating his skills which led to the college admission into NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. AMARA gained the attention of Cambodian hip-hop label Klapyahandz and produced “Cypher” which was released in August of 2022. His work continues to detail his journey of rediscovering his culture.

Yeah, good review. I like this tune for pure fun, but the bridge sections are really bad (when she's actually singing), IHMO. I didn't mind the repetition in the chorus too much, but we only got one section of primo rap in there, as you mentioned. It's a mixed bag. You didn't mention her voice, she has a good vocal growl going and it suits her.
