In this video I will show you what it's actually like working as a program / product manager at Amazon in Seattle. I've worked in this role for more than a year now and wanted to share how I typically spend a day. No glamor, no extra fluff, just a literal day. Hope you enjoy and let me know if you want more vlog style content!

Hope everyone watching this is having a great day! Did anything in this video surprise you? And if you work/interned at Amazon or even in another company, what’s your typical day like?

You have videos of high-end condos for sale and now we get to see YOUR condo, your view of the city and water is amazing. Nice flexibility on your job. A fun video, thanks for sharing!

Hey I hope you are still going strong in Seattle! Your last statement was if it surprised you and what is your typical day like. I moved here a long time ago from PA. I am an "out" male welder and this was the only place in America that I found a strong gay scene as well as lots of manual labor work. I have been here for nearly thirty years and no matter how things have changed for the good or the bad , I would not live anywhere else in the world and I have visited nearly "everywhere else". If you burn out on Amazon ( not that anyone ever does😉 ) make sure to have a Seattle "network". So many six figure jobs here are found through personal networks. I love your videos and hope that you continue to post them.

We're getting a Jerk Shack in the Central District soon - now I can't wait to try it! What's your favorite item on the menu?

Nice!!! Anything chicken is good, but the shredded chicken is the best, especially with their white sauce on top. Also anything with plantañas is good 😊

Hello Chris. What kind of degree do you need to work as program manager at Amazon? Nice videos!

Thanks! And any degree really. I’m engineering but I know some who are music, computer science, political science, and business. Although the most common is something business related

As an engineer I always wondered what PMs do all day. And now I am no closer to the answer 😅

Hahaha! If it helps I can essentially sum it up as meeting with data inteligence engineers/devs, pulling data for different pilots/market trends, writing up emails/docs describign the findings (90% of the work), and emailing it out or talking about it during meetings. If you ask me day to day what I do it's almost nothing, but somehow projects get run (the engineers do all the actual work) lol

You have a wonderful work environment! The flexibility Amazon gives you and a beautiful city to boot. I wonder, do you think if they(Amazon) required you to come in each day would you enjoy that too?

It is really nice! Although I definitely like it because of the work from home. if it was office mandatory I'd likey search for a new role lol
