Yeah, no oil is inconsequential. Very low pressure, very low RPM, no heat from the exhaust that usually drives it, very short duration. Zero damage done.
@danieleffindavis2 жыл бұрын
should be added that a turbo designed for use on an engine actually utilize the hot expanding exhaust gases to further propel the turbine. its not simply spinning from the flow of gases thru it but actually spinning faster by compressing the hot gases that want to expand outwards.
@knezivan12 жыл бұрын
ty for this i came from random youtube and wondered what are they proving here. soo leaf blower is car gasses running out or in? and that makes the turbo suck blunt air faster? making the engine have more o2 giving more/less or the same amount of gasses pushing the turbo more or same?
@TheGreatBritishFarm2 жыл бұрын
@sourand jaded Thank you sir, that's a perspective I've never looked at before, engines run on air, fuel supplies the heat, I mean it's so obvious when you hear it but id never heard anyone put it so simply yet accurately.
@djstatyk15402 жыл бұрын
@sourand jaded Teach me your ways, Turbo Yoda🙏
@jgerdinggmail2 жыл бұрын
@sourand jaded This. Probably could have spooled the turbo better by using a blowtorch to let the hot gasses expand through the turbine housing and deposit more energy into the hot side of the turbo. Turbochargers need both high pressure AND high heat through the turbine side to do what they do, they are not like pinwheels you get at the fair.
