One of the issues I see with the decklist is getting an early geodude as your only starter, you might lose it due to its 2 retreat cost and then you are left with 2 zapdos EX which are both 2 price points and the one golem which you try to build. You need something else to throw at the opponent that’s worth 1 price point like a meowth or a fossil to maximize the price point gsme

Yea this deck's biggest flaw is brock not working on the dude which makes no sense.

Try out Onix + Greninja. Only fighting energy and with both Brock and Misty. Misty is the only source of water energy for Mist Slash (fitting name). If you can't find any heads with Misty, it's fine because Greninja can use its ability without any and Onix is the real star anyway.

Golem deck is hard, I rather go with a MarowakEX deck and rely on coin flip RNG or a try my luck with an Aerodactyl passive no dmg win with coin flip RNG too XD Since you have 2x ZapdosEX already you can just toss 18 Trainers cards and call it a day like that too.
