I am impressed with the fact that my mother had the good taste to buy one of these new in 1995 and keep it in such good condition - she's had tshirts covering the seats since she bought it. Milano red, original factory paint looks amazing for being more than 25 years old. She thought it was pretty good when someone offered her 6K for it a few years ago. She might flip if she what people are willing to pay for it now, but even so she probably wouldn't sell it. She loves it.

@@XeblazeGaming Of course! Because guess who gets it when she no longer drives? I am an only child...😁 (Though I do love my CRZ. If it were not for finding one of those for sale when my 95 Civic was stolen a couple years ago, the Acura would have been given to me already, since Mom bought herself a new Honda Fit. She still loves the Integra, though. Even as a late septuagenarian, she still appreciates something sleek and sporty. She probably would have wanted the Crz for herself, if it had the same power as the Integra, but I love it because it drives almost exactly like my civic EX coupe, and it's a hybrid and a hatchback.The acura would have been just as nice a car, but the milano red is a little flashy for me... I could see myself getting more traffic tickets in that Acura, as it attracts too much attention.)

@UpRoaryus2 жыл бұрын
@@songlee1253 Well, they did FIND it about a week later, but it was pretty well gutted, sadly... They took just about everything they could take: my entire manual transmission, cut speakers out of the door panels, and even my laminated Thomas Guide street map of LA and Orange county! The bastards didn't even leave the leather dog collar and tags from my beloved Rhodesian Ridgeback that spent 14 years by my side - pretty much my entire adult life, before he died I used to leave them hanging from the rear view mirror as a way to let him live on, riding with me in the car as he loved to do. That was irreplaceable and not even worth anything to them at all. It still hurts not having those keepsakes of him... It broke my heart to look under the hood and just see straight through to the *ground* instead of what normally would be there in the engine bay. It wasn't worth putting it back together, as anything replaced would have been aftermarket parts and wouldn't be as reliable. It was sad to leave just the shell of her there in the tow yard like that, though. She deserved a better send off than that after so many years to getting me places. I drove it across country from New Hampshire to Los Angeles. It wasn't how I anticipated saying goodbye. In fact, I would probably be mourning the loss daily , even now, if I hadn't found out about the existence of the manual transmission hybrid Cr-Z by accident while seeking a replacement. I managed to snag a really nice 2013 6-speed MT EX with only 36K miles on it for sale and the guy lived less than 15 minutes away from me, having to sell it because his wife had gone blind and could no longer drive. It drives almost identically to my old coupe, except the seat is even more comfy and is even better looking. That crystal black pearl paint is so pretty, but it's a high maintenance shine. If's lucky that I love the Z so much, as it is the only consolation I have over the loss of my civic. My ma would have let me have her 95 Integra GSR and gotten a new Civic or a Fit for herself if we had not found that CR-Z, but I just don't have the right personality to be tooling around with 170 HP sports car in Milano Red - too conspicuous for me, for sure...

Had it resprayed, tinted, updated a few things like you (K&N, HIDs, LEDs in markers) New Master Cylinder, Rotors, Pads, ALL Suspension bushings replaced. This summer I plan on Shocks/Springs and probably Clutch/Flywheel along with some new tires. I also had a set of 1995 SE Prelude "Blades" from my first Prelude. Looks exceptional with those on it. Gorgeous. I wouldn't change a thing, as my preference would be to enjoy this Integra for the awesome time capsule that it is. I like to appreciate older cars for what they are. This is a beautiful example all around, I really like this color combo. It's nice to look at such a well laid out interior that is void of any sort of infotainment screen - which will age about as gracefully as smartphones, tablets, etc. (that is to say not well at all). In another decade or so today's cars will begin to look outdated while your Integra will still look fantastic. Great car and great car buying story.

And yes I still have the original stock intake, stock header, exhaust and even the original muffler. It just has a K&N filter in the air box that I installed 21 years ago.

I told him that was crazy so he sold it to me for 700, which I still think is crazy, but he just wanted more than the dealership was offering. White with black interior, not leather, but still nice. I just picked up a 1994 GSR sedan with a similar story - one owner, bone stock, dealer maintained. Planning on keeping it stock as well, though will probably end up with Koni yellows and H&R OE Sports. I like that you put an intake on it, I probably should have gone with that over the very mild Magnaflow muffler I had installed, since now the exhaust tends to overwhelm the sound of the intake and make the VTEC engagement less dramatic.

Congrats! I also just put in new iridium NGK spark plugs and that no joke gained power back and you can hear both the vtec engagement better and the secondary intake at 5800 is crispier. It’s like a $40 DIY intake setup it’s VERY easy. I do need new shocks she’s a bit soft over the years!
