Alright so I have this exact setup on my car and let me tell you that this is DEFINITELY the exhaust you guys are looking for. Exhaust is loud, but doesn't drone on the highway. Sounds amazing in person and I get compliments all the time from everybody (not just Honda guys lol) about the sound. It's got a real deep and mean sound that sets it apart from every other Honda ive heard. Haven't got the car on the dyno yet, but I'm sure this exhaust flows just as good (if not way better) than any other 3in off the shelf exhaust. For those of you wanting this exhaust it is going to be a bit more money to put together (depending on where you have it welded) but well worth it. For it I have the KTeller 3in stainless steel piping, vibrant tpv muffler with 3in inlet and 4in tip, vibrant 18in resonator with 3in inlet and outlet, and of course the Skunk2 alpha header. Bought my header in early 2020 and the fitment was great. If it doesn't fit for you, skunk2 even provides the adjustable sway bar brackets, but I didn't even need em. From the header, I have it straight piped with the resonator welded where the stock one is right before the sway bar and of course the muffler after the sway bar hump. I know this is a long comment but hopefully it answered all the questions lol

So you did the bottle style resonator, not the ultra quiet? Also, did you do the 17 inch long TPV muffler? I don't know if either of those make a big difference in the sound. Thanks.
@wiltfongdc54 жыл бұрын
Yes it definitely does. The ultra quiet will make the exhaust quieter than this video, and the muffler should be 17in (I don't think a 23in would fit well) I went with the 18in large diameter bottle style resonator part# 17950 and the 17in long angled tip muffler part# 1061. Part# 1062 will produce the same sound but it has a straight cup tip unlike 1061 is angled

Thank you for this! I need this setup for my rsx it sounds so much better than any other 3in exhaust

Curious if the Vibrant Titanium muffler would work in place of the tpv? It's a 3in id, 3 in od. Thanks and appreciate it if you know!

@@mischixf2347 Sorry for the late response. Yes if its 3in it should work fine. In the process of uploading a video to my channel right now if you wanna check it out

is there enough exhaust tubing to not have to use a resonator? or do you need one
@FronkG6 жыл бұрын
would vibrant ultra quiet resonator be more quiet than the 18in bottle style one?
@FinestFilipinoX6 жыл бұрын
Frankie G yeah it would be, I was debating on getting that one but I just went with the 18in one
@FronkG6 жыл бұрын
im going to try it out with the ultra quiet, btw did u use the flanges and hangers that comes with the kit or opt for vibrant stainless steel hardwares?
@FinestFilipinoX6 жыл бұрын
Frankie G the guy who welded my setup together made his own stainless steel hangers

Does it drone on the highway??

Its honestly not as bad as some other exhausts our there

That’s how the exhaust is actually called?
@wagner38134 жыл бұрын
Which vibrant tpv muffler exactly? Lol theirs a couple of them i see
@wiltfongdc54 жыл бұрын
You need the one with the 3in inlet and 4in tip. Your two options after that are a straight cut tip, or an angled tip. Both will sound the same but I went with angled tip

Do you get the crackles and the pops
@wiltfongdc54 жыл бұрын
Occasionally, and when you do, they sound real good. It doesn't pop all the time though. With my kpro I made a burble tune and it pops real good then, but I took it off cause I personally am not a fan of it popping constantly.
@BlasianBuilt4 жыл бұрын
wiltfong dc5 man this hella late. I appreciate the response but I’ve done crashed n bought another rsx now 😂😅 and it pops like crazy without a tune or anything being fbo no tune.

Much better, definitely like how it sounds compared to the old header.

Joey Jazmines are you running a cat or a test pipe ?
@FinestFilipinoX7 жыл бұрын
The raceheader is once piece that replaces the short header and cat

ive seen a couple of your posts on crsx. I saw that you contemplating between the vibrant super silent reso vs the bottle reso. why did you decide to go with the bottle instead of the super silent one?
@FinestFilipinoX7 жыл бұрын
No reason, just decided to go with the bottle shaped one
