I think you missed the 20mm trust washer. You put that first before 33mm spring washer. This for the reverse gear

Actually you have them flipped upside down. It should be the needle bearing, 20mm washer then 33mm washer.

I had the spring waher on the other end of the reverse gear! thank you for the imput! I will crack the rnny and fix this!!

Is this rebuild for a manual swap so you can tune? Since you cannot tune autos?

What’s different between Acura tl 06 manual transmission and 08 manual transmission type s outer cases??

The 06 engine is smaller at the area where the transmission connects, so the portion of the tranny that is closest to the engine is smaller. the 08 manual tranny is larger at the clutch box, so the part where the tranny meet the engine is also larger. To swap trannys between these yours your only have to swap the clutch box. everything else is the same on the 3G TL.

you would have to chang ethe bellhousing on the 04 TL trans
