Some footage from the second day of a Chin Motorsports track weekend at NOLA Motorsports Park in Avondale, Louisiana. Car is a 2005 6mt Acura TL. Had issues overheating brakes (pads suspected) due to less than optimal (front) brake size and cooling on a full weight (and front heavy) car for extended runs.
Brake ducts will be installed before any future events at a minimum. I also might install new front rotors with a better vein design. The issue really is not brake fluid but I might switch to RBF660 for next event anyway.
Modifications/equipment at the time of this event:
235/45/17 Pilot Super Sports (OEM recommended pressures 35F, 32R with no tire rollover issues and too much center tread wear)
HT-10 brake pads
RBF600 brake fluid
SS brake and clutch lines
Comptech short shift kit
TEIN Street Flex coilivers (7 clicks from full stiff front and rear)
H&R front and rear anti-roll/torsion bars (both on firm setting)
Skunk2 front camber adjustable upper control arms (~ -1.5)
PCI front lower control arm bearings (HeelToe Automotive)
SPC rear upper camber arms/rods (~ -2.0)
XLR8 62A motor mounts
XLR8 torque damper
XLR8 J-Pipe
RV6 Pre-Cat deletes
