Genesis Coupe 3.8 OnGrid Track Day | FIRST Time on Track (NOLA Motorsports)

I finally got my Genesis coupe 3.8 on the track, and I had a BLAST! Thanks again OnGrid for coming all the way out from California to New Orleans, Louisiana to host this spectacular event! It was my first time on the Nola Motorsports track and the experience was great. It makes me want to actually finish my track build (Turbo Miata) and get back out there with it.

Yes, they bite a lil better than the old factory ones.. I believe my problem is the I didn’t change out my old brake fluid. I’m gonna see if it changes anything for me in the future

Fuckkk yes. Just get some higher temp brake fluid like motul600 and some more track oriented brake pads, if you are still on the OEM Brembo pads they fade super quick. So pumped to see someone using the gen coupes for just they were meant to do!

Lol that name tho, I live by that!😂💪🏽 But I’m glad you recommended something because I didn’t even know where to start with the fluid. But in one of my last videos I showed what rotors and pads I have on now (basic R1 package). I don’t plan for it to be an all out track build but a street car with track-like capabilities, so I hope that doesn’t disappoint you😅

@@pj_morrison I'll have to go check that one out! I ended up going with Hawk HPS pads on mine and it's a great combo for being a daily driver that I track/drift on weekends. I've heard good thing about the EBC Reds too.
