This video needs wayyyyyy more views! I've been doing pretty much this setup for years. Except I have magnets on the sides of the radio, and let the screen float in front. After years of torture using the god awful slow touchscreen units, I fell in love with this. Sadly it only outputs 16bit 44khz flac. It'll play higher, but it downsamples it. I can totally live with that. :-( about all these are getting discontinued though.

You should put the tablet where the hvac control system is . Usually it would be easier if it was a Navigation model

AliExpress has a full telsa style touch screen thats fully functional with the acura tl. Ordered mine

Hi, very cool project. I'm just wondering about incoming calls or if you want to make a call. Can the tablet show call notifications or can make a call through the telephone?

This stops you from have a 6 inch USB cable from hanging down from the tablet to the sound system without wires showing.
