I did not take my chances i have yet to find perfect aftermarket headlights, i suggest clear silicone around the entire headlight before installing something i forgot to show/ mention in the video

I don't know which headlights to get. These or the euro r. Or just save my OEM headlights and sand them and reclear them. Hope you go to the Springfest meet at Pacific raceways this weekend. Thanks man I appreciate the support and im going to be out of town for work for the event sadly so I wont be able to make it, plus I still am waiting on wheels and a few body kit peices, so my car is nowhere close to done lol Im also thinking of redoing the paint in the summer same color because I love the blue,but it definatley needs some love the paint has chips and scratches all over lol

How's the quality of that projector lens? Can you swap in the OEM TSX lens, which happens to be one of the more sought after in the retrofit community? Would be tough to compete with OEM quality..

To me the lenses are good, I dont see the big difference between the stock projector lenses and these, I do not retrofit so i couldnt tell you if it would be difficult or easy to get the oem projector on there, but the brightness of the lights are the same, the projector makes it not blinding, but still really bright, just as bright as oem, im not sure what a better or worse projector would be if theyre equally as bright

Hey I just got these and asked my Mechanic to install, they had told me that they can’t install them due to the fact that the aftermarket’s don’t have a self adjusting bulb motor compared to oem having that motor and if I was to install them lights on the dash would come up and it would mess up my car electrically? Can you confirm or help me on what I should do..

That is cap they just dont want to do it, if they convinced you the oems have a self adjusting motor theyre crazy i installed these on a 08 and a 04 no issues

If you know how to solder you T the wires and put paste, and then put the rod on top, and heatshrink goes over it, i cant show it that car is gone but its pretty simple

@@oscar_cu2 what paste did you put? All I was going to do was solder the wires together and put some waterproof electrical tape on it.

@@DR-UTAH its soldering paste , it should come with your solder kit if not you can get it online, you just rub it on and makes the solder so much easier and stronger, but yes grease and heatshrink is a must

They would work on any car lol drl just needs power and ground.

I know this is an older video, but I just bought a set of these and tried to install them. The power box that bolts to the bottom did not line up with the bolt holes. The box said its for a 2004-2008 TSX. The instructions show the mounts looking identical to the OEM lights. Maybe they shipped me a different year model.

You might have to do some trimming on the plastic because i had no issue with one side that had a oem ballast (powerbox) it bolted right up but i had a aftermarket one that dint bolt up but 2 of the 3 lined up so i put 2 on that side

@@oscar_cu2 the guy I bought them from said my TSX was made in Japan and these lights are made for TSX made in the USA. I had to send them back.

It pretty much had 10k less than the odometer(240k), but rebuilt engine amd trans gives it about 30k according to the receipts lol

What did you do for them not to fog up mine only lasted like 4 weeks and they started fogging up. It rains very bad and they fogged up. I put silicone around the headlights but I don’t think that did anything.

I resealed them with silicone and used dessicant packs inside the headlights non oem things will always fog up

Hola, tengo un acura tsx 2007 y las luces no alumbran bien , no se mira bien en las noches porque no proyecta la luz y e preguntado en lugares donde venden luces y me an dicho que esos carros en esos años tienen el problema de los proyectores que no reflejan bien la luz, mi pregunta es , si esos headlight que instalaste alusan bien y as tenido buena luz con ellos. None so far because i siliconed them no water and i also added silicagel packs oem standard, for moisture and other do get water in them mine have not

They are but if you want the leds to work you have to splice it is not that hard

They should turn on right away by pluging in if not swap your other high beams to these or your fuse blew

No, i should have mentioned I sealed mine with clear weather proof adheasive, because I have trust issues with after market headlights no matter how nice they are they will get water in them so i didnt take my chances and sealed them

Any aftermarket headlights i buy I seal I should have mentioned that somewhere, they just dont seal them like they do in the oem factories, so I use a weather proof clear silicone, with a caulking gun another fix is to seal the ballast with the same caulk because ballasts are expensive

Yes very much so ive seen them done on a camry you just have to open it up and replace some of the leds or add an rgb layer of leds next to the existing leds

The ballast? Or a plug? They should all fit if installed correctly but if the ballast isnt oem that could play a part in why it doesnt fit

It was a pain running the wire and i didnt have a tripod to record at the time but with a coat hanger or a thick wire you can get it in there

Did your HID boxes bolt up nice to the new head lights or did you have to rig it up? I had to return some because the bolt pattern was way off for the hid box.

I just had these headlights installed about a week ago. They look great but one con I have I at night, the headlight seems like it is aimed really low. It’s like all that is lit up is the ground, I wish the light was aimed up more. When I’m driving I have to use high beams sometimes in places I’ve never had to before with the oem headlights because it’s too dark. Any tips on how to fix this?

Hey yea i have the same issue. At night, I cannot really see that far in front of me which makes it dangerous for me to drive. Were you able to fix the problem by buying new bulbs?

The headlight has adjusters that you can aim the light up more if needed

@@andressandate There are tons of videos on the Tube that describe how to aim projector headlights, it's pretty much the same for all of them. I did it on my TSX a few years ago, easy peasy.

Nope mine lined up good i didnt have to do any mods, i just had to flip it a certain way till it worked but realized i should have just looked at the stock one lol

Didnt like the euro headlights, and no they dont look as unique, but i think the daytime running light is definatley good looking, I go for the modern look always so it just looks like a newer car and not a 15 year old acura so the car looks and feels like a 2020 car

Nope tsx and TL are different cars, the headlights look similar, I have both cars, they do not transfer over or fit
