I went to a single pickup configuration about a year ago - Humbucker in the Bridge location in my Strat. Best tone results. I use a Modeler, and I think multiple Pickups unnecessarily complicate and compromise the ability to dial in great tones. The Presets tend to sound good only on one Pickup, but not the other one.

Love the use of the 3 way to control the 1 humbucker. Don't know why any of the production single H guitars don't do this.

@@RsSquier51 I am doing this since a long time! You got a humbucker, you got a 4-cond wire, ..... so why stay with only one sound? And by using the partial split option with selected parts you also get great split sounds out of low output humbuckers, like shown here.

Down position is serial normal humbucker mode, middle is parallel mode, and up position is a partial split with selected parts to make it sound this way! Plus an AGL (Acys Guitar Lounge, .... my stores name) treble bleed combination working on volume pot. And thanks for your nice words!

@@dezionlion This is the AGL / by Häussel "Wild Honey" pickup model, 7,5k dc resistance, alnico 3 powered. I developed this model to create an awesome T-Top style model, as I love lower wound pickups with their open dynamic sound! You can buy this model from me, just send mail when interested!
