@@sf61092 Yes. I wouldn't wire any lower than that unless you know your rise but .67 will be fine. And max operating voltage is 16v so you're good there also.

I might have a 2 ohm Banda 7k around still that we may put on, but they tend to perform very similarly to the SounDigital amps and don't tolerate bench runs at rated impedance very well - they want to see rise.

Short bursts are fine and dandy, i want too see what it does after its been loaded down for 5 minutes, i want too see the temps on the split board interconnects while its loaded down for say a 5 minute song!

I have a friend of mine that has the same 7500.1D amp (ordered from Candice)of these. He has demoed for 30 minutes straight, It does great.

I spent about 3x the time on the bench with this one than what was seen in the video. I definitely got it up to full operating temperature and it kept going with no trouble, being fully loaded with certified runs the majority of time. I didn't pull temperatures, but they definitely kept within tolerance with no impact on output.

I own 2 dd audio M5, which are essentially the same amp. .5 dynamic should be around around 14k. That’s the limit of the power supply section even at 15 volts. I’ve wired mine in a car to .5. Had rise to 1.1 and clamped 9600 per amp at 15.1 volts. Never had a problem. Did a 61.5 at 36hz with 2 amps and 8 pretty cheap 12’s. Less than $300 a sub. I did have very good electrical though. Type in “Savard hair trick”. That’s the build. It was windy.

We lost an M5 on the bench trying .5 - while I wouldn't hesitate to wire to .5 in a vehicle, (in fact we are doing just that), I am hesitant to do it on the bench. There's a big difference between the two scenarios.

@@Facekicker I currently have 2 dB aak-20,000.1 wired at .57(technically should be .67 but coils on subs measure low) rising to 1.3. Clamping 20500 an amp. So I’m pulling 41,000 watts out of 2 amps. I tried those at .28. Had rise to 1 clamped almost 23 but they would protect when voltage dropped under 15. They are 18 volt amps. I’ve heard they will do bursts of 30k at 18 volts. Maintaining for a 30 second demo about 15.1 volts. They never protect, and they’re so damn big they don’t even really get hot. 6 dB 3512R. 2/1 4th blow through. Box is 100% of the bed below the rails. 25 cube after all displacements. High tune of 50. Plays a very smooth bandwidth of 28-50. Plays 23 but noticeable drop off under 28. In an s-10. 164 at 38hz. In no wall. No bracing. No wood ceiling. Only a lot of kilmat. 13 boxes in the cab of an s-10 behind screwed down factory panels. 19 layers on the ceiling. Exact same electrical I had the 2 M5’s on. Only now I’m externally regulated so charging a little higher. I understand the dyno is totally different. Zero rise. I’ve had an old sva-6000 wired at .17 on 3 zv5 15 for a while never protects. That’s little things a monster. Only does a 54 though.

If you wire it to half ohm on subwoofers, you'll see about the same power it does on the dyno at 1 ohm, because of impedance rise.

Weird Question. Do They Make A 2 Ohm Version (7500 @ 2 Ohm). I've Got Some Serious Impedance Rise (subs really like the box and environment) They Rise To About 6.5 Ohms From 0.5 Ohms. I'd Get A Taramps But They Roll Off Below 32Hz. And My Subs Operate Between 24-32 Hz hahaha

No. Most Korean style boards are built for one ohm operation. Taramps only has one model that has any measurable LF rolloff, and that's the old HD model. Any of their current models have no LF rolloff whatsoever, we play into low teens with them. If you're really experiencing 13x rise instead of the usual ~3x rise I'd rebuild my box before I fussed with amps.

@@Facekicker Oh Wow I Didn't Know That About The Taramps. I've Played Around With A HD3K And The Roll Off Was Bad. I Didn't Realize The Newer Ones Got Rid Of That Roll Off. Do You Know Which Series Of Amps No Longer Have The Roll Off Below 32Hz? My Impedance Rise Isn't A Issue On My Current Subs. 6.5 Ohms I'm Seeing About 3000 Watts And It's Extremely Loud And Right At Mechanical And Thermal Limits Of The Subwoofers... But I'm Upgrading From 2000 Watt To Some Higher Power 3000 Watt Subwoofers With Alot More Motor Force Which Is Theoretically Showing That I Should Expect Around 10Ohms Of Impedance Rise In My 3.8 Cuft Box Tuned To 22Hz. In Car With One Door Open It's About 25Hz Tuning. The Enclosure Is Super Efficient And Already Pretty Small. I Could Make It Bigger But That Will Make The Impedance Rise Higher And Most Likely Hit Mechanical Limits Way Before Thermal. I'm Thinking About Running A Taramps 12k 2 Ohm Model. I'm Really Hoping For About 4000 Watts At 8Ohms So I Can Really Get Stupid Loud For Brief Burps.

@JasonWW2000 Yea That's A Really Good Idea. The Only Problem Is Space. I Really Wanted To Get Like A Taramps 12K 2 Ohm But That Doesn't Exist. They Make A 8K 2 Ohm Version Which Would Make More Power Then My DD M5. I Found Out Only The Old HD Taramps Had The 32Hz Roll Off Problem. The Next Issue I Saw When I Took Impedance Curve On My System At Moderate Power Is That It Does Dip Just Slightly Below 2 Ohms At Certain HZ Above And Below Tuning But Not Sure If They Taramps Will Tolerate That. The New Subs Im Putting In In The Future Are EMF Banhammer V2 Which Have Alot More Motor Force Which Theoretically On Paper I Will Have Even More Impedance Rise On My Current Enclosure. Do You Know If It's Worth Wiring DVC Subs I'm Series To Get The Most Motor Force Out Of The Sub (Most Effient) Or Is It Just Best To Wire Down Parallel And Throw More Power At It? I'd Wire The Subs To 4 Ohm And Then Parallel The Two Subs To 2 Ohm. Then I Could Do Like What You Said And Maybe Strap 2 4Ks Or Even 2 8Ks If I Found The Space. I'd like to see if it is able to survive a half ohm certified test which would prove durability and also how is Teampie about their warranty and standing behind their products I wonder because I can give you a 1st hand experience where I had owned a soundstream T1.6000 thee original one that was actually made in Korea- ran it at half ohm clamping 4k for 3yrs then sold it to a buddy who is still running it today! Now we wanted to upgrade his setup so I had bought another soundstream T16k and I received an updated version which was made in china unfortunately, guts/components looked nothing alike so I wasn't going to even try to strap them but he ran the new amp at 1ohm on a pair of kicker compR 12's and it lasted 3wks so a Korean design made in china doesn't necessarily mean that it is anywhere near Korean quality and durability so if this thing can atleast survive the half ohm test without going into protect or blowing up then I would think it is safe to assume it is okay to run at 1ohm and will actually last a little while....

Running any amp at .5 on the dyno is typically a death sentence. The amps are capable of being wired to .5 and rising from there in actual use however.
