Phly, APDS on the M41 can penetrate the frontal armour of the Panther with no problem. You could have gone right though any part of that top plate at any time.

Challenge Time : Take out the French ARL- 44, It's tier 3 battle rating of 5.7! It's frontal armor is capable of bouncing shots from other nations, including Germany's high powered 88's like the Tiger E and H1. I really think you would like it! Attempt #2 (Also, at 7:45 You see that the panther couldn't pen the Arl-44? Great tank!)

Been playing the M41 lately myself, but I haven't unlocked that sabot yet... Really missing out as you can see with them butt clenching moments you had there. Fantastic demonstration of light tanking done right. I love it. Speed > armor, in both ballistics and tactics.

In case anyone is interested (one year later)... this is the plane that Clint Eastwood was in when he survived a crash landing in the Pacific Ocean. At one point, while Eastwood was unable to communicate with the pilot, ground control advised the pilot to bail out and leave Eastwood to his fate. The pilot decided not to do that and crash landed in order to give him the best possible chance of surviving.

Funny you rediscovered the M41 recently because I did as well. I was looking for something to fill out my 7.0 lineup with a low RP cost. Now I use the M41 as my primary backup in 7.7 battles. Despite relatively low pen for the BR, I usually get more kills in the M41 than my M60. I don't know if they buffed APDS recently but its better than playing whack-a-mole with HEAT-FS.

Phly!!!!!!! Look up the RAM rocket!! It basically is the T19 rocket, but American style and I know it can be mounted in the p/f80, it’s slightly bigger then an Hvar and can pen 15-18 inches of armor. I’d love to see this in game :D
