I watched two ADA videos and I appreciate how it inspires; courage and action, to make a move in front of others in an unfamiliar environment; self-expression and a small sense of freedom, to translate one’s thoughts into individually unique movements that are used to create something; leaving one’s legacy, to make your mark, to say I existed, I was here; experimentation, to see what you can do and what can be done; movement and touch, coaxing people to use their bodies in ways they may not often get to; helping each other and teamwork, to come together to create effects and outcomes one may not be able to accomplish on their own; play, a sense of whimsy, fun, and feeling carefree, a genuine sense of play that doesn’t require any one purpose or reason besides “because you wanted to!”; and finally, smiles and laughter shared between strangers... because that’s just always a good thing :) Thank you.

Looks like the aids virus. I'm a biologist and it's intriguing to me to see ADA move. It makes me think about how viruses interact with the world. Just floating around harmlessly until the world interacts with them, setting them into motion and making them leave their marks. The metaphor is astounding to me even though that isn't what is meant whit this piece of art. I really love it thank you for this amazing piece.

@Ritsoz I dunno, I kind of like the bleak, depressing look. Nicely compliments the intersting and often cheerfull reactions of people :)

@ Karina Smigla-Bobinski Did you ever consider the possibility of using an air-helium mixture? You could create something that would weigh exactly as much as the air it displaced, with the result that it would float in mid-air.

It is already the case ... but sometimes (it depends on a few but relevant parameters) ADA stays or goes up.

I got here thru thisiscolossal art blog. At first, I was worried about the charcoal because maybe it could hurt the hands. Nevertheless the art installation is very unique.

Some red, yellow and bleu.. and you've got a Mondriaan balloon. First drawings of him already look something like it.

From not liking a piece of art to thinking it represents a failing of the world is quite a jump 😂. Perhaps you should consider chilling out and letting people enjoy things you don't understand instead of being a drama queen about it.
