I always learn something new from your videos. I trust noone...priceless. i will have to work on this because reacting to hearing English and my smiling nature may attract attention.

Really appreciated this video. Most I’ve seen focus on what to buy to stay safe, alarms, door stops etc but I liked that you mentioned things like not talking to strangers and being confident. Never heard of the Tripit app before - I’ve already downloaded it. Thank you for this invaluable information 🙏🏾🙏🏾

Girl, you must be my spirit animal. I did my first solo to San Diego in April. I put on my backpack and my Resting Bitch face and I kept it moving. You must be a Libra. lol. Only one guy in a train station felt privileged enough to talk to me, but no, I didn't trust him. He was talking I gave quick responses and moved over to a couple of men who looked like they would step in and help if he bothered me. Now I also don't trust Uber or Lyft. I have to get used to those 2 programs. Do you carry mace or something? Me and my non trusting self, I have a doirstop alarm for my hotels. Great video. Have a good day

I don't carry anything with me like mace. But I do size up every person for weak spots in case I need to attack.

How have you handled emergency situations, related to safety or hospitalization? How did you bridge the communication barrier? Do you covert currency for every location you visit?
@AdaliaAborisade3 жыл бұрын
Currency - I get money from the ATM when I need it Emergencies - Have you watched the video I did? kzbin.info/www/bejne/qafMkJ-NjJ2Dd6c The few times I've had to talk to the cops I just used my toddler Spanish and Google Translate. In my experience, when people see that you're in distress they figure a way to understand you or find someone who speaks English.
