How very sad to think of, how time has flown by! In 1967, I was shipped off to the jungle of Vietnam and fought for this country for 4 bloody years and now with all of my PTSD from both my childhood and my memory of the war, I live in my car with my 2 small 4-legged fur babies that love me. They're the only part of my life that gives me joy. Watching Adam-12 reminds me of how I wanted to be a police officer but, the draft changed my entire life and I came back from Vietnam with all of these horror memories and they won't go away. I missed so much being so far away, the only thing we had, was radio. Thank you Adam-12 for the memories..........

I'm 75 & remember Martin Milner when he played teenage roles in the early 1950's, when he was actually about 25! The guy seemed almost ageless for 20 years & still looked good at 83! R.I.P.! Marty!

Ronne Troup also played Chip Douglas girlfriend/wife on My Three Sons. And her father was singer/actoe Bobby Troup who sometimes appeared on Dragnet and Adam-12, and was one of the stars of Emergency, playing a doctor.

William Boyett (the Captain on Adam 12) was also on the 1950s cop show "Highway Patrol," and later had a role on "Archie Bunker's Place."

William Boyett also had a recurring role as a battalion chief on Emergency! His name on that show was McConnike. There was a memorable episode of Emergency where Captain Stanley is studying for his Chief's exam and it was revealed that Stanley has accidentally burned McConnike's hat during a rescue. Poor Captain Stanley was paranoid that McConnike would fail him on the exam so he just gave up on taking the exam throwing his books in the trash.

In the 1970's an ADAM-12 episode was filmed at our local Gateway market at the Glassell Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, that market was owned at one point by the LaBianca family, the husband and wife were murdered by the manson family everytime that I watch ADAM-12 I'm reminded of the LaBianca family, they [were] such nice people. Mark Harmon played a young rookie police officer in 1975 for one episode . He also played a police officer the same year on Emergency. They also missed Mickey Dolenz who played a biker on Adam 12.

Yes that episode with Mark was called "Gus Corbin" and was one of the last episodes of Adam-12'a 7th and final season. Fast forward - i cannot imagine Jethro Leroy Gibbs making the same mistakes - LOL!

Kent McCord was in an episode of Andy Griffith but was uncredited. He was a student in the Karate Class where Barney attended. And Andy was there to find out how good Barney was at karate because he was being harassed. But you had to look quick or you might miss Kent.

With the large number of guest stars that appeared on Adam-12, it would be impossible to chronicle them all. Two well known guests were Barry Williams (Greg Brady) and David Cassidy (Keith Partridge). I'm a bit surprised that Shaaron Claridge wasn't mentioned. She died in September 2021 in Nevada.

Would like to report one very glaring omission in this video. You did not include the irreplaceable Shaaron Claridge the real life dispatcher who lent her voice to all the episodes and was seen live on one of them (don't remember the episode name). She was an integral part of the cast and the show. How come she was not included?

If you think Martin Milner changed a lot you should see his Route 66 partner George Maharis. I met him in L.A. years ago and didn't recognize him, he was so aged and skinny and cranky, and so extremely gay acting.
