Ben had three wives. But Adam had three mothers. They lost them together and raised Hoss and Joe together. In many ways Adam is Hoss and Joe's second father. At least I think so. This is a great video you put together. Well done. Great song choice too!

I first watched Bonanza in my early teens , Wasn't that keen on Adam at first , but he grew on me , Ben reminds me of the best boss I ever had , Jack T , Ben even looks like Jack T , Wow , I never tire of watching this !

Lovely sentiment as usual, MK. It makes me remember a discussion on a thread awhile back. Someone stated they thought that unlike popular thinking, Adam was actually Ben's closest or favorite. Such a debatable point, but he certainly was closest in personality. I always enjoy your takes on Adam's relationships!

I actually found out that Pernell Roberts (Adam Cartwright) was 10 years apart from Lorne Greene(Ben Cartwright)... so Pernell died ten years after Lorne did. :)

First of all, thanks for watching my video, Julia! The clips you referenced are from the 4th season's episode "Little Man...Ten Feet Tall". The boy's name was Mario Biancci, an Italian visiting The Ponderosa with his father. He looked so much like Adam that I used him for my story video.
