Also, to the point about being sad when you're spouse is gone, tell me about it! Not my spouse, but my dad, about ten years ago, he was hold up in the hospital with cancer (he's fine: it all worked out, and the house was, like...unsettled without him. Not in a fighting way--we didn't fight--me and my siblings and my mom--but it was...I can't even describe. "Eerily quiet" is the closest I can come, but that's not totally accurate. Like something was missing. I mean, duh, but you can kind of only understand this if it's happened to you.

Are you not allowed to enter the mosque on your left foot? I thought the whole thing about the left half of the body being evil was only a Roman/Latin superstition, so passed onto the Catholics? My grandfather went to Catholic school and was beaten for being left-handed. I also went to Catholic school, but was not beaten for being left-handed because times had changed.
