Bluetooth receivers are less than $10, so don't let BT stop you from getting something . Also likely the same with stands. You can easily make or get something to angle speakers up :)

Thanks a lot for your detailed reviews of those monitors. I was waiting for your comparison before ordering a set. I am a casual musician that want to make some music at home, have a poorly treated room and not much space available on my desk. I will go for the Kali LP UNF because I don't need portability and they seem to have a better sound. The speakers will be sitting on foam blocks very close to the wall... I was also thinking about the Adam T5V or KRK Rokit 5. Any opinion / suggestions?

This tiny driver wasn't meant to be stand-alone, imo. It really needs a subwoofer. I just got my D3V and it was thin in the mids which really effected imaging, but when I set the crossover on my dac/amp to 145hz it cleared up the entire mids, and these now have richer and more detailed mids than my old a5's. Highly recommend, if you have crossover or plan on keeping these long enough for that to matter, and are space limited.

I’ve just been trying to decide between the Adam T5V and the Kali. Ended up changing my initial order from the Adam’s to the Kali’s for the additional room correction options. I have a small untreated room. Also the smaller size and front ports made me think they would be a bit easier space wise. By all accounts they both sound great. I’m replacing Presonus Eris 4.5, which are okay but I think either of these would be a massive improvement. Adam have a great warranty which made the decision harder, but I’m sure the Kali’s will be fine.

How are the d3v compared to the t7v? Since they are similar in price. I use bluetooth mostly if others need to work at my spot 😂 that way they dont have to touch anything pro audio related 😁

yea you cant beat front port, vs passive sub radiator, when they are that small on the Adams..

@@ju1ceaudio Likely a few people would want to use these like "multimedia speakers". That said, you can probably add a bluetooth option yourself with a small receiver. A slight hassle having to convert the 3.5mm to 2x TRS 6.5mm

Kanto Ora’s are the better ones to compare it too. Similar size, objectively better looking as I think the Adam’s look awful. Similar sound profile although Ora’s sound a bit cleaner. Great review

You don't need a stand for speakers. They just need to be pointed towards you. If you can manage it on a desk without stands, that's good enough.
