Thanks for a great review! I want to buy the T7Vs, but a friend keeps telling me "studio monitors" lack bass. I want to use them for listening to music on my computer, in a rather small room. I'm a regular user, not a producer or a DJ. Do you recommend the T7V for regular (hifi) use? Cheers!

Hi Alex, thanks for the message. I am not sure what studio monitors your friend has heard but they are supposed to have balance and clarity, hence what your thought process is spot on. I highly recommend the T7V's for hifi use. Clear and balanced sound and reasonable cost. If your mate wants, Adam so a T10S 10" sub you can add to it ;-)

Are these speakers good for general media consumption (tv/movies/music). In a small to medium room. Listening distance about 2m?

They are very good all round speakers and have a good balance. But they won’t replace separate tops and subs. I listen to my tv and music with the Adam a7x’s and love it. Hope that helps
