The Adams can be tricking with that excess high, the krk gives a more mid even sound
@Nevermour3 жыл бұрын
Adam Audio seems a lot brighter, probably due to the Ribbon Tweeter. KrK kicks a bit harder though but the mid-range can be overwhelming

Thanks for this review. I have Rokit 5 G4 and have been scouting for a bit bigger monitor and was looking at the Rokit 8 G4, HS8 and T8V. Ended up with the T8V and awaiting shipment arrival.

How are the adams?
@MuRD3RiFiC3 жыл бұрын

@@johnathanbeats How do you like them?? Im currently working with some M-Audio Bx5s and they just aren't cutting it with the low end and the high end sounds shallow and less detailed than I'd like. I am more drawn towards the hs8 series than the krks, but the adam audio seems like ultimately an obvious choice because of that high end clarity for more accurate mixing results...thoughts??

KRK Rockit 8 G4 - better on singer's voice and acoustic instruments, more wide and depth scene. Adam Audio T8V - better on electronic synth music. Thru my [some sheetly] Oklick headphones.

@yusifrasulov9973 жыл бұрын
The T8V's are just so clear... The Rokit 8 G4's have a little bit too much bass and sacrifice the High-End too much for the Bass... So i would definitely take the T8V's.

I Noticed the difference on the Tv8´s! they are much brighter! both the Krk´s are Pretty Skilled also! and Deep in Depth (if that is well said) though they lack in high frequencies... but can that be fixed by going to the Back of the Monitor and tweak the High and Mid knobs a bit.. boos them up a bit and that should do.... would that be a solution_?

@@its.chrisrobinson for listening to human voices and instruments like piano, guitar or other string instruments I go for Adam t8v. For Hip Hop bass, or electronic music I prefer krk rp8 g4. an option that is in the middle is m-audio bx8. By the way, all are very good options. @@its.chrisrobinson yes, the sound in krk is more coloured. It sounds artificial. For mixing I go for krk, for producing I go for Adam. Adam sounds flat, muffled, like it's covered by something. Krk has much more power also in terms of rms.

Adams - KRKs have more mids, but bass and highs are way better on the Adams. Also the Adams sounded bigger and wider. For electronic music, especially female voices and just for listening to music the Adams win. If you do guitar centered music maybe the KRK, but I personally would choose the Yamaha HS8 for that job…

I am not so satisfied with my T8V they lack of loudness and Bass ... While I play with them connected to a XONE DB4 via XLR very often their protection (green light blinking) activates and the music stops .. . I am gonna buy the T10S subwofer or change them .. It's funny that I tried a pair of M-Audio BX8 and they are way more louder.. So I assume that KRK is the winner in Terms of Dj use. The Twitter is fantastic on T8V but needs a companion woofer with more bass production.
