I am 2 years post op. Just went for my 2 year follow up to Minnesota. Still have pain from scar tissue. However, I am thankful for this surgery as I had no quality of life. My friends still dont ask me out often because of pain episodes. Good days and bar days. But I am also 52 now. Much harder to recover the older you ge5.

@@vamshikrishnaakula4377 11 month after surgery she has no pain as she had with pancreatitis

I have had chronic pancreatitis since I was 7. But i only end up in the hospital 3 or so times a year. I have full function otherwise. I have been approved for TPIAT but I don't want to do it. My family is pushing me hard to do it. I feel very stuck... I have some issues with it, but I wouldn't say I'm at this point. This surgery terrifies me, and I feel bullied into it.

Your body, your decision. Don't let anyone tell you what to do with your body, even your own family! I'm sure they want what's best for you but you have to make that decision. I hope you're doing well!

Hey congratulations! I am actually having that procedure done within the next two months. I was supposed to have it done in April but with the whole covid going on they had to delay it. Any tips or things that you wish you would have changed Oregon prior see your procedure that would help me out going into this pre-procedure?!

Hello Adam, how are you doing now? I had the islet cell transplant June of last year but my islet cell died 8 months later and now I am type one diebedic, it's been so hard adjusting because my sugars are uncontrollable. I think I should had waited to get this done because now my item site is blurry and I am having lots of medical problems. Please let me know how're doing now. Best, Rob
