@@DriftHQ what did you guys end up doing with this car can’t find any other videos unless it’s the green e46 but that’s m3 fenders, I wanna see a video with a walk threw on the ls build as I’m currently swapping my 330i but can’t find any in depth videos ik I need an engine, transmission & mounts, stand alone ecu just don’t wanna spend money in the wrong places as I’m really tight on money an I’m going to school for welding in 2024 but should be saving moneys not gonna be an issue when this cars done because I will be storing it an selling my brand new car when I go to school cuz I live close much appreciated if you do make a video!

Has anyone analyzed the footage? Its appears adam bottom out a few turns before by the dumpster which cracked the block spilling oil out before it ran dry and popped. You can hear/see during the turn drift and bottomed the block. Why am I always the one to see these things. I used live in Fort Myers last year and currently drive e46 daily.

Learned the hard way about LS oil starvation in drift. Have to have a baffled pan, need a sump of some sort to keep oil in the pickup

No dry sump? They didn't really go over the engine and the goodies but from what I've heard (especially from Taylor) about LS's and drifting is they like to blow up when really quick when they don't have a dry sump.

Adam for sure watched Taylor's video about Cefiro, where he sad, that he never literally blowed up an engine - and wanted to join :D But ohnestly, it can be defeating and sad blowing engine without any fault so fast...I feel sory for you guys too, cause I very like E46 + LS setups...oil starvation + bearing catched the crank or too high revlimit for rod bolts - my guesses...Brian (Jimmy Oak'ses mate) has blown up his white sedan in a very similar way. 2nd or 3rd lap on the track and 'everything' on the ground..

I was thinking the same, Without helping the oil system it will starve for oil when drifting or any spirited driving, except straight line pulls. A dry sump, accusump or at least an oil pan with baffles and trap doors. Taylor learned the hard way and yes Brian's LS was built by a reputable shop and it didn't make it either. He did use some of the old parts. I am not an expert, But what I have seen is, Do not open up a junkyard engine if it runs great. It seems once you disturb it, It doesn't last long. Even Cleetus and James had issue's in the beginning with Ruby, Until Texas Speed set them up.
