If your LS is rear sump you need nothing (besides maybe a cooler) as far as oiling . If it's front sump... you'll need more. Also, mounting an oil cooler with the fittings on the bottom is not ideal, it will not self bleed and you may only end up putting oil through half of the passages.

Dude do NOT mount your oil cooler upside down. Only sideways or right side up. Otherwise the oil cavitates or just flows across the bottom two rows or so and not the whole core.

I love how good you guys are but a GM motor in a Bmw hurts me to the core lol.. so easy to build a S54 and soo much cooler. I know and get why but still LS swaps are so common now when you see a competitive car you go "and its not a LS"

Well... an LS is easier to work on, parts are cheaper, there already was an ls in there so wiring is mostly the same and texas speed had the motor all ready to go. They needed to swap it in like 3 days. Timing and reliability is why its in there. It's a rental so it has to be simple, easy to fix, and work.

All engines are great. This came with an LS from the previous owner. There are pros and cons for all engines.
