I grew up having to listen to my Dad's country music. It's all I knew to be country music for years. When I was introduced to the popular country music of the mid to late eighties it was not the same. But OMG country music from the 90s on is mostly pop. The old "Louisiana Hayride" type country music that I was raised on and a few select true artist will always be country music in my mind. There are some good independents out there these days too. I crack myself up with my playlist country legends like Hank Sr to George Straight to unknowns (or little knows) like Johnny Horton. Then completely flip side to Metallica, GNR, Nickelback, Aerosmith Throw in some Beatles, The Monkees, Elvis, The Momma's & The Pappas, Pink Floyd And Top it all off with some Adam, Tom and Dax I think it's pretty well rounded😂
