Now they’re reporting Cole and Britt broke up (in a respectful way, no weird speculation or getting personal) and people are complaining? Adam Cole needs to get himself back to WWE. When he was with WWE, it goes without saying that he was Triple H and Shawn Michaels guy. He left WWE for AEW, presumably because he didn't know how things would work under Vince on the main roster, he wanted to stream on Twitch, and Britt also wotked there. He hasn't had a great deal of success in AEW, he's been incredibly unlucky with injuries, he's now no longer with Britt, and AEW has declineing crowds and Cole gets little to no reaction from the crowd during his current segments. I think it would be a safe bet that Triple H and Shawn would take him back in a heartbeat and put him back in a place where he would be incredibly over with the WWE audience and having great rivalrys, whilst also (fingers crossed) being injury free. Get back to WWE Adam, and get your career on a high again. 👍

@YourXellency I did say that he has been incredibly unlucky with injuries. He jumped off an elevated ramp to injure his ankle. WWE doesn't have elevated ramps, so that would help to start with. Putting injuries to one side, he should be able to stream on Twitch with WWE now. I don't think it is a problem under the TKO ownership. Also, as we all know, Vince McMahon is no longer running the show at WWE. Whatever main roster concerns Cole had while Vince was still there no longer exist. The two guys who Cole himself said he was incredibly grateful for during his NXT run, now run WWE altogether. Surely it's a no trainer for someone who was Triple H and Shawn Michaels, number one NXT guy to return to the company, and get back to being the star that he was, if not higher. Adam Cole, United States champion, Intercontinental champion, Money In The Bank winner, WWE champion. Surely he would want tbise as wrestling accomplishments, and with Triple H and Shawn, he would get them.

Once the contract get to a certain point triple h tends to pull wrestlers. Shelving them so as not to get them hurt or create a story they may not finish. Ricochet is the exact way you hope to accomplish this

if you're a wrestler and your two options are 1. wrestle in order to eventually get a serious injury, get surgery and sit out for months or 2. just not get used and sit at home, i think number 2 is awesome that you are getting paid to do nothing. you don't have to deal with travel issues like going through tsa or packing unpacking or driving for miles in a rental. it's basically a free paycheck without risk to potential injury. you can pursue hobbies or explore activities and vacation and maybe even a side hustle. just exercise and train to avoid ring rust. that seems like the best option.
