John Zamora One HAS to wonder how well that degree of expertise would translate into sparring strength vs various weapons and fighting styles.... It's easy to call it "impossible" or "impractical" to use a whip as a weapon without the time and effort put in, but what could THIS guy do? :)

fench1234567 in most RPGs I've played, the whip would only ever do a tiny amount of lethal damage (in most JRPGs like DQ) or, in the case of Pathfinder, would do a respectable amount of damage, the only snag being it's nonlethal. If you wanted it to be lethal, you'd need to devote time and feats to improve your character
