Join my friend Gary and I for a little visit to Brighton, courtesy of Visit Brighton! In this mini series we'll be sharing some of the must dos for your family in Brighton. We'll have reviews of great dining spots and things to do in Brighton this summer!
In this vlog we check in to the beautiful Blanch House hotel (gifted), grab lunch at Block Bar, visit the Royal Pavillion (gifted), stroll along the Palace Pier, wander the lanes of Brighton and get dinner at Bill's (gifted) before retiring back to the hotel for a couple Big Potato Games (gifted).

As much as I adore the Disney vlogs, it's great getting to see you do some things in the UK and even Disneyland Paris was great to see! Disney World is (relatively) easy for me to get to but to see things that are so much more out of reach is great! Love watching and can't wait for more.

Milk goes in first because in the olden days when tea was drunk out of a china cup, if you put boiling hot tea in a china cup it could crack so you put milk in first! Well done Gary, you did it right!

I love recapping my day trip to Brighton by watching this vlog. Went there by train whilst visiting London without any expectations at all. Stumbled upon the Royal Pavillion and I absolutely loved it, spent roughly an hour there since I am an arts/architecture geek and got the information that this year (2020) they are bringing back some of the artefacts that were originally at the Pavillion but were moved to Buckingham palace. Since they are fixing up some rooms in the Buckingham palace the artefacts are being put back to where they belong, and were design for. Just a quick interesting fact for you that I got from one of the lovely historians at the Pavillion!

I took a day trip to Brighton on a trip to the UK because of your video from before. I got the Zoltar fortune as you did then. I think the Royal Pavilion visit takes longer if you’re interested in history and get the audio guide. I don’t like when places forbid photos to try to get visitors to buy the books and postcards instead. I thought Gary was in his 20s.

Interestingly, in 1847 P.T. Barnum modeled his Bridgeport, CT mansion after the Pavilion's design. Sadly, the mansion burned down right before Christmas in 1857, but original library furniture survived and now on display at the Barnum Museum in Connecticut an hour out of NYC. Great episode! Fun to see tourist destinations in the UK! Thank you! K

I'm of the Gary C generation. But that made me titter. Not as much as Gary liking more inches.... By the way, Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh has a wonderful fountain. From a teapot milk is first! It's those that add the milk WITH the teabag that are wrong 'uns. Life goal, spend an afternoon/evening in the pub with you pair (not in a weird stalker way, just in a shared humour way. I promise. Can't promise you won't think I'm weird).
