A thing that general public commenting here don't understand is that Beastie Boys are just *three MC's and one DJ, no break dancers*. Of course, I understand that if you're not a BB fan then you would believe whatever thing whoever will say about them. But I got to tell you when I was watching that Vin Diesel interview, I knew he was just making it up, it just seemed like he once saw them outside Danceteria and kind of got into it with them and that's all. I don't know why he had to tell that he danced for them, like seriously?!

Theres a great podcast on how peoples memories are very malleable and how over the years they can actually come to believe things that didn't happen. What could of happened is Vin got into it with them at Danceteria and he mixed that up with another memory of him dancing for some other performer. Or over the years he kept elaborating on the story until one day he believed it to be true. revisionisthistory.com/episodes/24-free-brian-williams

I like how he said, 'That's not the way Mark Vincent told it". As if to say, a dude with a made up name is certainly more apt to make up stories as well.

I think that's more of a slip that he knows him well and calls him by his real name (as his close friends and family do) and not by his stage name. Just like how LL Cool J is not called that by his friends or family. He's called Todd (his middle name). Even on set he's Todd.

I recently watched a "Seth Returns to SNL" skit and apart from the fact that nobody realised Seth had not been on SNL for a while, the skit was like re-introducing a forgotten nobody to a family who had moved on years ago with no memory of the nobody.

@@TheSickNeeds It's one thing to exaggerate how tough you are, it's another thing to blatantly lie about easily falsifiable and oddly specific life events involving other people. Vanilla Ice infamously claimed to have gone to high school with Luke (a different Luke than the one above) from 2 Live Crew, which Luke stated was false. I suspect that's what Adam is referring to. There was also some controversy over whether he even grew up in Miami as he claimed (he certainly wasn't from there). There's a whole complicated thing behind it where SBK supposedly pushed the false life story on Vanilla Ice (along with a makeover, to make him more "commercially viable"), and Vanilla Ice supposedly just went along with it because he was under contract (and easily manipulated), but I don't have enough information to verify nor dispute that. The fact that he recently performed at the Mar-a-Lago new year's party for a bunch of Trump's accomplices (and children) seems to verify that he's still easily manipulated, so I guess that's some tangential evidence in favor of that part of the story. There's also that time he broke into a house and claimed he was under the impression that it was his house.

All those comment's I've heard that before. He is married? yeah back then gay closet Man would get married and have children. "the highest selling music group of all time? I think that record is always getting surpass by another group. Because he will always be relevant, Okay!! sure now and day's if you ain't what's trending in pop culture. "You're not relevant" The only reason I was watched this clip was because of Vin Diesel. He basically called him a liar and made the conversation awkward. I bet you guys are of an older generation. Thus making you unaware that he is Not Relevant in 2015.
