Interesting fact, The Beasties used to rehearse in the same building as my band on Mott Street, in SOHO a few blocks from my apt and Paget Brewster was a friend of mine who also rehearsed there in the room across from me and my band. Her band was called Mechanical Bride and she was really good as a lead singer!

When I used to be into rap, haven't been for a long time, I remember seeing an interview on a late night reggae show with Slick Rick saying that I think it was Paul's Boutique changed how he phrased his lyrics on Slick Rick's album of the same period from the same studio. Obviously the BB's wereinfluenced by Slick Rick, but the influence really went both ways.

Also one of the quickest and smartest mind you will ever know, the most creative soul of the three and the best rapper with the best flow you will ever hear. I can suggest you like 30 songs right now, or give you my album ranking, or i could be lazy and say that you listen their music in chronological order, but everyone's experience with music is different, all of us knew the Beastie Boys with a particular song or a particular album, even on a particular music genre, so go ahead and throw yourself freely in the Beastie world with what catches your attention, just do it at your liking and don't follow anyone's ranking or rules, or worst, a review.
